Monsanto was the 2003 Fawn Champion at AOBA Summer Nationals (Halter) and 2003 MAPACA (Halter). Monsanto’s elite fleece beat some of the best alpacas in the world to take these top coveted awards. In addition to spectacular fleece and conformation, Monsanto has pedigree to burn. He is the son of Magical Farms gorgeous herdsire, Quetzal. He is the grandson of two of the greats – on one side Monsanto has the incomparable Accoyo Timoteo who Don Julio Barreda sited as one of the top three most influential huacaya males to ever leave the Accoyo Ranch. Monsanto’s maternal grandsire is the gorgeous black male, Matador (sold for $70k at an older age), who has sired countless champions including MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite.
