Startdust is a white female with very long staple length and nice crimp. She is a proven mom and produced a huge male cria (See Mada Vemi's Santana) who did quite well in the shows. We've bred her to our 10x Blue Ribbon winner, Amerikhan Legend, for a Spring 2012 cria and he's a gorgeous medium fawn male with very nice fleece. We've named him Amerikhan All Star.

Description

Santana has got some wonderful qualities going for him like big bone, great density, and monster staple length! Despite the fact this young male is only about 6 months old, he's got more than 6 inches of fiber already. I wish we had sheared his cria tips off right after he was born but I never guessed he'd be Mr. Fiberiffic at this age. Santana and Carbon Copy (aka Chaz) are cousins and they look it. They both are out of the Quetzel line and I'd have to say they have big bone, density, and staple length in common so there must be some genetic component in that. Santana's dam also comes from a line that consistantly produces top quality offspring with long staple length. Santana is looking quite nice and we will most likely take him to the 2010 spring shows to see what the judges think.
