STUNNING...That's the first word that comes to mind. This boy is a crowd stopper from the second you lay eyes on him. He's a 3/8ths Accoyo, 1/8 Allianza, Full Peruvian, SOLID dark silver grey, MFI Lethal Weapon son. His grandfathers are 6P Accoyo Titan and PPPeruvian Royal Fawn. Take a look at his ARI Certificate and you'll see he's got great genetics jam packed with color! We are crossing Dynomites offspring to our 4X Color Champion & 9x Blue Ribbon Winner, Amerikhan Legend, in the hopes of producing black or silver grey crias with Legends incredible fleece. What an incredible combination of genetics. Both Legend and Dynomite have produced BPGs so we're hoping by crossing these two gene pools we may end up with BPGs that have elite fleece. Dispite ALWAYS being the darkest male in the grey halter class Dynomite has done a fabulous job of bringing home good placings at the shows. At the time, there were no "Modern Grey" classes. The grey halter classes were rarely divided between rose grey and silver grey and we have yet to show him at a show where they divided the silver grey class into light, medium, and dark. The result of combining all the greys together makes for tough competition between greys that are so light they're almost white to animals that are so dark they are almost black. We're very pleased with Dynomites show success in these tough competitons. Dynomite's first dozen crias are black, BPG, and tux grey. This boy's calendar is filling up fast so don't wait to book your breeding! We frequently do mobile breeding runs up and down the east coast so call today to see if we're going to be in your area anytime soon!

BEW?

Zardo Zap

Zap is the most friendly, adorable, girl with tiny dark eyeliner around her eyes. She's considered a BEW and we feel she is deaf. She has black polkadots all over her pink skin, black pads of her feet, black toenails, a black spot above each eye, and a brown dot on each side of her forhead. Zap is also a genetic wonder for the moment. She is the only known BEW out of two tux greys. We're getting ready to collect blood samples to be sent for DNA testing to tell us if she's homozygous grey. If she is then she should only produce tux grey cria no matter who she's bred to. The only other option is that she's not genetically a BEW. Zap is the farm clown and thinks the water hose was invented on her behalf. She will stand up on her back legs so you can spray her belly with the hose. If you try spraying another alpaca with the hose Zap walks between the hose and the other alpaca so that everyone is aware her turn was not over. If that doesn't work she will put the end of the hose in her mouth and drink the water so that no one else can be sprayed until her turn is over. Zap is out of two greys and with her odd coloring we just have no idea what color we should be expecting. Zap is currently bred to Marathon's Dynomite in order to try to bring out that grey. Dynomite is a nicely squared off male and we're hoping that he passes that on to this cria. Update: Zap had the baby today (11/27/10) and he's a gorgeous tuxedo silver grey. Take a look at his pics and it's easy to see why Zap is getting bred to Dynomite again. Once you see this gorgeous baby and read about Zap's comical behavior you might be thinking "She's perfect!". Well... There's always a catch isn't there? Zap is far from perfect. Her family tree doesn't have very many branches since she was an accidental linebreeding but the worst part is she's addicted to destroying my electrical wiring! She's eaten the cord to 2 scales 4 different times and she's eaten the barn cam wiring multiple times. Since Zap is so creative with finding electrical cords we've had to thread every electrical cord through PVC pipe to protect Zap from her addiction. Tough love. Now that she has a cria to look after she seems less interested in destroying the electrical items but I'm still placing the blame on her for the heated water bucket that has to be replaced. :) I did not name Zap but with her electricity fixation we feel it's an appropriate name. When her 2010 tuxedo grey son needed a name we thought we should stay with the "electric" theme... Mada Vemi's High Voltage was the perfect name for this incredible young male.

Description

Dynomite crossed with our BEW, Zap, gave us this gorgeous light silver grey tux male and he is just steller! Thick, I mean THICK, bone, fine fleece that's got serious density, and his color is a light denim blue! His crimp is coming in just wonderful... all the way up to between his ears on his top knot. Coverage past his toes and when you sink your hands into this fiber it's very fine, heavy, and very bright. His looks alone makes me smile but when I open up that fleece I can not help but grin from ear to ear! This young male is definitely headed to the shows! We will consider a partial interest sale but I am NOT selling full interest in this one...and you can bet your last buck I'm repeating this breeding! :)
