Champion Producing Medium fawn full accoyo not many herdsires, but if you add the Legacy genetic line to that description, you really have something special. Now take the description and include his remarkable show career with Champion offspring, and the result is a male that can make a huge impact on a farm's breeding program. Placing in the top two positions at large Level V shows, this boy has been judged with all the top fawns in the country by the most experienced judges. His fiber is a delight to see even at six years old with bright bundles of crimp fiber that are packed together for density. Prince's cria have demonstrated his ability to pass along color, even through white dams and provide great fiber qualities and conformation. Prince's cria have included dark fawn, tuxedo gray, medium brown and black. He is throwing color darker than the dam 80% of the time! More importantly, his cria are consistently showing remarkable fineness (15-16 micron range) and award winning density. With 15 different Banner winners to his credit, he is earning quite a reputation for his production. Contact us for more information on his availability and his cria. Co-owned with Highland alpaca This is for 1/3rd ownership

2013 Update: HIS CRIA CONTINUE TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS! A male offspring has won three Judge's Choice Awards this spring in three shows (including Level V!) Look at his offspring as you go thru the spring show circuits...including AOBA Nationals and Futurity! His grey offspring are spectacular enough for the Blue Ribbon at the prestigious AOBA Nationals and Futurity shows and have won multiple Color Champions again! Two grey offspring took BOTH COLOR AND RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION GREY FEMALES in a recent show! No other full Accoyos can boast this rare quality! Progeny Championships in white, fawn, brown, and greys! Sired by the now deceased El Nino (one of Accoyo Caligula's best offspring. El Nino was the 2004 AOBA Get of Sire, and was the 2005 Light Futurity Herdsire of the Year!). With El Nino's recent passing, Michelangelo has become one of his most prepotent progeny! To lose such a legendary macho in his prime makes the genetics of his top offspring even more critical to a well thought out serious breeding program. Michelangelo has that extremely dense fine high amplitude crimp, and an incredibly even "peach colored" fawn fleece. In late 2005 Dr. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy of this spectacular male, and he had a follicle density of an amazing 115 follicles/mm! (Post-calibration results were adjusted to 107 follicles/mm) His S/P ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are still unheard of statistics, and he PASSES THEM ON! Michelangelo will split time between Lakada Farm and Cameo Rose Alpacas, our new co-owner!
