Our top herdsire, Snowmass Peruvian Casanova was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram was still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age! Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors in 2003 for his outstanding offspring! Not only that, in 2005, the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year was a Casanova son, Snowmass Nova, who sold in early 2006 for over $300,000! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award! With all the Champion progeny that he has produced, what would a Casanova offspring do to enhance your sales list? Limited outside breedings available in 2012. He will be standing stud in Chicago area from June until December.

2013 Update: HIS CRIA CONTINUE TO WIN CHAMPIONSHIPS! A male offspring has won three Judge's Choice Awards this spring in three shows (including Level V!) Look at his offspring as you go thru the spring show circuits...including AOBA Nationals and Futurity! His grey offspring are spectacular enough for the Blue Ribbon at the prestigious AOBA Nationals and Futurity shows and have won multiple Color Champions again! Two grey offspring took BOTH COLOR AND RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION GREY FEMALES in a recent show! No other full Accoyos can boast this rare quality! Progeny Championships in white, fawn, brown, and greys! Sired by the now deceased El Nino (one of Accoyo Caligula's best offspring. El Nino was the 2004 AOBA Get of Sire, and was the 2005 Light Futurity Herdsire of the Year!). With El Nino's recent passing, Michelangelo has become one of his most prepotent progeny! To lose such a legendary macho in his prime makes the genetics of his top offspring even more critical to a well thought out serious breeding program. Michelangelo has that extremely dense fine high amplitude crimp, and an incredibly even "peach colored" fawn fleece. In late 2005 Dr. Norm Evans did a skin biopsy of this spectacular male, and he had a follicle density of an amazing 115 follicles/mm! (Post-calibration results were adjusted to 107 follicles/mm) His S/P ratio was an astounding 13.28/1! These are still unheard of statistics, and he PASSES THEM ON! Michelangelo will split time between Lakada Farm and Cameo Rose Alpacas, our new co-owner!

Description

JLFA CASANOVA'S PERUVIAN TESSA is a full Peruvian rose grey Snowmass Peruvian Casanova daughter. He is a one of a kind and one of the most impressive Full Peruvian Grey herdsires. He is out of 2 white imports – making him extraordinary and his fleece tantalizing with characteristics of white fleece fineness and density. He had a micron of 18.3 at 3.5 years and a recent histogram showed he was still under 25 at over 9 years old! It's the first time ever that a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award. JLFA CASANOVA'S PERUVIAN TESSA's dam is CPeruvian Traviesa. She was a special dark brown gal that had been with Lakada Alpaca Farm for many years. She was a wonderful and reliable producer that made gorgeous babies of several colors, the lightest being light fawn, and also LB, MB, BB and True Black. She was brought in utero. Her dam was CPeruvian Devany, a dark brown gal ALSO with an impressive repro record - majority females and several colors including grey and true black. JLFA CASANOVA'S PERUVIAN TESSA is a looker! Check out those pics! She looks just like a postcard. Teddy bear head with long ear lashes and black eyeliner. She is a mid sized square heavy boned gal that is nice rose grey fleece. Her coverage is tremendous and color is stunning! She will catch the eye of all your visitors! She should follow in her dam and grand dam’s footsteps and become a wonderful grey making producer. JLFA CASANOVA'S PERUVIAN TESSA comes recently bred to light fawn El Nino’s Accoyo Michelangelo, who is a multi champion and multi champion maker, including a GREY progeny champion maker!! This pairing should be terrific! The Casanova/Michelangelo cross has proven successful for us.
