It has been nine years since I first saw Kalvin standing in the pasture at a mere 6 weeks of age. Even at that young age he was a striking male with well defined heavy locks and tons of luster. We purchased him that day and have never looked back. At the 2010 AOBA Nationals Kalvin progeny took first place ribbons in 4 different classes with USA Jeremiah taking a championship and the Breeder's Choice Award. Needless to say it was a good show for Kalvin progeny.
Now if you want to add the positive traits of consistency of lock and luster with staple length on a sturdy frame Kalvin is the male you should be considering. Oh, by the way Kalvin has a very bad habit of letting the color of the dam pass through.
UPDATE: Gabby, a spectacular female, owned by Tim & Beth Sheets of Heritage Farms wins 2011 Female Judges Choice at AOBA Nationals.

Dam: Tiburon's Accoyo Lady Lox
30467033<--ari-->White<--color-->Lady is a full accoyo, white Ramilo grand-daughter. She is has been an easy breeder, unassisted birther with an ample udder for her champion crias. Her fiber is still soft and shows good independence, but has broadened since she has been in production. Her “criations”, Viracocha & Paramour, reflect the quality she produces.
Lady is a valued member of our foundation and not for sale at this time<--description-->
Description
Viracocha is just starting his breeding career after a successful time in the ring. He is a solidly framed male also exhibiting lock definition and density along with luster and fineness. His bite is spot on. All that and color too. He was born a light fawn color which he inherited from his sire, Kalvin, but it has lightened to beige as he aged. The judge comments were on his exceptionally fine fleece with its high degree of luster. Also commented on was his proper balance and proportion along with his being well grown for his age and his correct bite. Judges comments continue to spotlight on his fineness, density and his luster in this regrowth fleece.
He would be a good choice to advance the fleece characteristics when covering colored dams
