SuriOpen (Female)Beige
AOA# 806560DOB: 1/1/1997
She has delivered a beige male 2012 cria, Blaze, included in price. Lourdes crias are exceptional and some ancestors are at some of the biggest alpaca farms in the United States. One of the most highly valued alpacas is a dam with a proven track record of quality crias, easy births and fast rebreeds. Lourdes, a full Peruvian, has produced a beautiful crias in a range of colors (including black and light rose grey) and is strongly influenced by the color of her service sire. Lourdes fleece is a shaded light fawn, exhibiting uniform narrow locks across her body. Her colored skin tones and dark feet indicate very interesting color possibilities. In addition to her beautiful color and ability to throw richly colored suri crias, Lourdes has solid conformation with straight legs, even hocks and a straight top line. She is also easy to handle and good on a halter. As a testament to her quality production, Lourdes' 2002 cria won the coveted Judges Choice Best Suri Fleece, Reserve Champion and Best Hand at the 2004 MaPACA Jubilee. Lourdes' 2003 cria is a beautiful high luster and strong boned black female suri. Lourdes' 2004 cria is a gorgeous high luster and twisted locked brown female suri that was the high selling suri at the April 2006 Celebrity Sales Jubilee Auction. Lourdes' 2005 cria is a handsome fawn suri who was sold as a junior herdsire prior to weaning. Lourdes' 2007 cria is an awesome light rose grey cria, Lourdes' Peruvian Anastacia, with beautiful locks and luster. She won 1st place at the 2008 Western New York Alpaca Show both in the halter and fleece categories, and 1st place at the 2008 AFNCA International Fleece Show. She also won Best Hand at the 2008 Western New York Alpaca Show and the 2008 AFNCA International Fleece Show. Above All Peruvian Abigail is another outstanding cria winning numerous awards. Here is an import that is still producing beautiful crias. If you have a special herdsire you would like to use, consider Lourdes, we don't think you will be disappointed.

Thank you to Prarie Lake alpacas for acquiring 1/2 interest in Maurader. We are excited to announce our ownership of Marauder. Thanks to Alan and Patti Anderson for all of their input! Maruader is a full Peruvian, rose grey- a rare combination!Maruader started out fawn with lighter vicuna type markings, and it appears he is actually a tuxedo rose grey. His fleece is a totally different color on the inside than the outside. Marauder's luster is beautiful, and he has flowing, dancing fleece. Hi sire, Mercury Rising, is a medium silver grey Silver King son out of a top WRSR foundation Rufino daughter.Mercury's color developed fully after he was 6 months old, as he started out with a fawn outer fleece. Marauder's dam, Topkapi, placed very high in large shows and her first cria was a silver grey female "Patches" who won Grey Color Champion at the 2008 Suri Network ALl Suri Fleece Show. Marauder has done well at the shows and has a great show career ahead of him. He was awared Reserve Champion- Grey Males at the 2009 MAPACA Jubilee, then second behind silver grey at the 2009 AOBA National Show. This boy is definately competitive. Marauder has great color and genetics to start your breeding program. Start planning your 2011 breeding program! He has produced 2 rose-grey's this year and one med. fawn Marauder continues to put great luster and lock on each of his cria's. Get your breedings now. UPDATE; 2012 Mapaca Jr. Herdsire of the Year
