Lancaster offspring are consistant and consistanly high quality. He puts his stamp on his offspring for sure. Not only is Lancaster's fleece consistent but so were his show winnings. He won his 14th blue ribbon at MAPACA '05. And he won the coveted Fawn Male Color Championship at MAPACA '04. Lancaster has been called, by more than one judge: "the total package". Mr. Safley said what's more impressive is that even though Lancaster was over 2 years old and the second oldest out of the sixteen first place males vying for Championship, he was the finest of them all-even the 7 month old standing reserve behind him. He exhibits all that we desire in a male and so much more. He has a magnetic presence with a charming, inquisitive personality and is an absolute gentleman. His well-balanced, heavily boned frame is entirely covered with dense, carpet-like fleece. Lancaster is passing on his quality fleece and strong conformation to his get. Lancaster throws color of the dam or a shade or two either way 70% of the time. When he's not letting the dams color through he's producing black out of grey & fawn from darks. Peruvian Lancaster is proudly co-owned with Flying Pony Alpacas. We’re offering these guarantees: -90 day live birth guarantee -90 day Breeding Quality Guaran

Hobby Horse Silk 'N' Sable

HuacayaBred (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 1112436DOB: 6/22/200420 yrs
Sable had a very nice female cria on 7/7/10. She is strong, tall & straight and flies around the pastures so we named her Supergirl! Silver Legend's AuSable Supergirl to be exact. We're offering Sable AND her FEMALE cria at side, Supergirl, at the Priority Alpaca Auction in Las Vegas on Sat, Jan 22, 2011! And Sable is bred to our 2010 MAPACA Sr Herdsire of the Year, 6x Champ and Get of Sire winning Peruvian Lancaster. So this is a 3-in-1 package to bid on! We had been searching for a 2003 Herdsire of the Year Snowmass Peruvian Casanova daughter for a long time and boy, was the wait worth it! Hobby Horse Silk 'N' Sable, is the beautiful bay black offspring of Snowmass Casanova and multi-blue ribbon winner, Majesty's Jewel. With Bueno as her fraternal grandsire and Peruvian Macusani as her maternal great grandsire, she had the potential to throw high quality colored offspring & we haven't been disappointed! Sable is a dark beauty with a sweet disposition and lovely head. She has solid conformation and a perfect bite. Her fleece demonstrates good density and handle for a black. We are excited to see how she will enhance our black and grey breeding program. Sable took a 2nd place in a large class of Bay Blacks at the North American Alpaca Show in April 2006. Judge Mike Safley commented on the nice character of her fleece, density, and soft handle. Sable lost to the ultimate Black Color Champion who had won 9 color championships prior to the NAAS! Get this genetic powerhouse and her female cria only at the Priority Alpaca Auction! http://www.priorityalpaca.com/lots.aspx?id=57

Description

Update: Arabesque won a red (2nd place) ribbon at the NJ Show under judge Wade Gease! Judge's comments "You watched this girl bump up the line to 2nd place due to the consistency in her fleece. It is of uniform color, structure and hand.. fineness puts her in the second position behind the first place female..and above the rest of the class" Arabesque won a 3rd place ribbon with our daughter Lucy showing for the first time! Judge Jude Anderson commented: "well crimped fleece, good coverage, soft handling". Arabesque is out of our bay black foundation female & Casanova daughter, Hobby Horse Silk 'N' Sable. Arabesque's sire is our 6x champ and OABA Get of Sire winning Peruvian Lancaster and is actually 15/16 Peruvian. Arabesque is the sweetest girl and is very friendly and inquisitive. She will follow anyone around the barnyard and gives lots of kisses. Arabesque won a 5th place ribbon at MAPACA 2009! And a 3rd in VT in the fall of 2009 as well as a 3rd at North American 2010. Arabesque is offered with a first breeding to any of our males including our 5x blue and reserve champ winner, AuSable Valley's Ascent or a transferable breeding to Peruvian Lancaster.
