Hobby Horse Farm Great Expectations "Dickens" is black and outstanding - a true son of the great Peruvian Black Epic - 7x Champion - top winning black Peruvian male all-time and grand son of the famous Stachowski import Peruvian Black Magic. If you close your eyes and touch his fleece, you would say he is white! Feel the crimp, lock structure, hand and density and then look at that gorgeous rich black color. Expert judge Mike Safley described Dickens as fine fleeced, with correct conformation, excellent style and macho presence - a true herdsire! Proudly co-owned with Hobby Horse Farm Alpacas!

Description

Carme appears to be a medium fawn girl with spots of every shade of fawn, brown and black--the typical, but rather rare, appaloosa. When you examine her fiber, you can see gray fibers throughout her entire body. Her face has the characteristic spots that identify the colorful appies. And not only does Carme have unique fleece colors, her histogram reveals outstanding fiber characteristics with an AFD of 18.18, an SD of 3.33 and a CF of 99.71%. What nice yarn her fiber produces! Carme offers strong genetics, including SA Peruvian Black Epic on her sire's side and Pperuvian Felix on her dam's side. Carme's present mate is FPA Abacus, a handsome, dark fawn herdsire with great fleece character. This pair should produce an exceptional cria, and hopefully one with lots of spots.
