Mr. Personality Plus, alias "Bo", is probably the calmest herdsire you'll ever meet. On top of that, Bo has incredibly dense, crimpy fiber from head to toe. And finally, those unique appaloosa spots make him completely one-of-a-kind. This spring, Bo settled several females (confirmed by ultrasound) and we can hardly wait for the crias to make their appearance. Oh! If only you could see spots and plumbing with ultrasound!

Enchanted Hill Gift

HuacayaOpen (Female)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 31619707DOB: 5/12/200915 yrs
Gift was born to a dam that lost one of her back legs a few days after being bred. After two surgeries, lots of medications, and five weeks at the VA Tech Vet School, Celestia still carried her pregnancy. This little girl was born without a hitch and has been a miracle to behold. For the appaloosa lover, we'll point out the Gift's dam, Celestia, is a daughter of Tell Hot Shot, a well-known harlequin appy, and Hot Shot, in turn, is a son of NGG Lional, known to carry an appy gene. And, of course, as you will note below, Gift has produced an appaloosa daughter. Gift, bred to Bo, produced a gorgeous appy daughter in spring of 2013. She had an easy birth and was a wonderful mom with plenty of milk. Now, here it is Fall 2014 and she's "dying" to be bred. Cutting our herd to a small group of appy females (and one token fawn that we can't bear to part with), we have recently made the decision to promote Gift as a bargain, for-sale girl. She can be bred now and we recommend Bo, but the buyer can make the final decision on this. No matter the mate, we'll bet on a gorgeous cria!

Description

It was a bit of a long shot, breeding Gift to have an appaloosa. But, this time we won the lottery, and got this amazingly gorgeous little girl, a beige with appaloosa spotting. Chiquita is covered with fiber, head to hoof, and is already developing the little beard that tends to show up in El Moustachio descendants. Chiquita is really developing into a beautiful animal. If anyone has an interest in nice fiber, or specifically appaloosa-spotted fiber, they should take a second look, or better still, come by for a person-to-alpaca meeting. You won't be disappointed! Fall 1024 update: Chiquita is now about the same size as her dam and showing interest in breeding. She can be bred to the appy male of the buyer's choice, though we would recommend Fox. They should "criate" a beautiful offspring.
