Polaris is a well conformed male who offers substance of bone, fiber coverage, density and soft handling fleece with extreme brightness, uniform crimp and astonishing growth. His sire is the famous “Accoyo Legacy” from Crescent Moon Ranch and who is now co-owned with Virginia Alpaca Farm & Breeding Co. One-half interest in Legacy sold for $750,000, making "Legacy's market driven price worth 1.5 million dollars... the first Million Dollar Alpaca!" (quote by CMR) Polaris' grandsire on his dam's side, “Accoyo Royal Fawn”, was the previous high selling male alpaca at $650,000. Polaris' dam is the offspring of an awesome Allianza Imported fawn female whose offspring are exceptional. “Peruvian Hermalinda” had a fleece with one of the softest hands we have had the opportunity to experience. Her daughter, “Champagne Ice” was sired by Royal Peruvian Valor, son of “Accoyo Royal Fawn”, the previous high selling male alpaca at $650,000. What more needs to be said about this animal whose genes would definitely have a place in any good breeding program? His first offspring are very nice!

Anna is a beautiful, full Peruvian 1/2 Accoyo production female. She has an excellent head and substance of bone with correct conformation. Her high amplitude fleece is lustrous and fine. She has a wonderful demeanor and is a healthy, consistent production female. Her fiber, at EIGHT YEARS OLD was 22.9 AFD; 5.6 SD; 24.4 CV; 7.7 %> 30u. The comfort factor was 92.3%. No wonder her offspring have great fiber. Anna's dam has consistently produced show winners as has her sire. The offspring of her sire, Coyo Destini, have dominated the show ring since they began showing in 2000. Annapolis produces beautiful cria and has given us three little girls and one boy. She is an extremely attentive and good mother with plenty of milk. Her crias add weight quickly and grow to be strong and healthy. On September 23, 2008 Anna delivered "Monroe", a gorgeous medium fawn female cria. Monroe's sire is the lovely AOBA reserve color champion, full Peruvian, 1/2 Accoyo medium fawn "Stone Mist's Commander." We anticipated a beautiful baby from these two and this young female is a knock-out. Gorgeous, even color, loaded with tight bundles, perfect looking in every way. On September 21, 2010 she delivered a gorgeous mahogany brown male cria out of our multi-champion herdsire Patagonia's Manuelo. Again, Anna delivers a perfectly gorgeous cria with very promising looking fleece. EVERY cria she delivers is like this – healthy, excellent conformation, excellent fleece characteristics, show and breeding quality stock. Anna has been re-bred to Patagonia's Manuelo for a fall 2012 cria. The male from this breeding is very nice, so a repeat breeding makes sense.

Description

VA Star Magnolia, named after the beautiful white, spring-blooming magnolia tree, is called "Maggie" or "Maggie Mae" for short. This girl was a tremendous mass of bright white curly fiber at birth, and a whopping 23.5 lbs.! Her fleece grew rapidly, and we had her shorn at 1 month of age. At Heart of the Valley, 5/12/2007, Maggie won 3rd place in a large class. She was almost 10 months old, with almost 9 months of fiber growth. Her density and staple length - the phenomenal amount of fiber on this young female - was by far the most fleece of all in this large juvie halter class. Her density, crimp and brightness, as well as her good proportion and straight top line were attributes about which the judge made positive comments. In 2008 Maggie's fleece was graded by a "certified sorter." Her fleece was graded WR 1 and WR 2 (very fine) with a score of 8 for brightness and density! Maggie was bred to 6Peruvian Accoyo Godfather 61IMPR98 and delivered a white male we named "Keane" in Spring 2009. The Godfather is a spectacular and renown Studmaster (tm) male. This breeding produced an awesome baby - one with density, fineness, beautiful crimp and great coverage. Service Sire Fiber Stats for Maggie's offspring "Keane": 1998: 19.0/4.2/21.2/2.3 2002: 26.4/5.3/20.2/17.5 2004: 26.6/6.7/25.2/20.3 Maggie Mae was bred to Full Peruvian Mountain West Elderon for a July 2010 cria. Elderon has very fine fleece. This male cria named Peruvian Chancellor is even more outstanding than Keane. Chance was sold to a spinner/knitter/weaver with very high fiber standards. She raises her own alpaca fiber and can only use the very best fiber. Maggie delivered a male cria out of Accoyo America Polaris 7/13/2011 that is outstanding. This stud's crias are fabulous. He's an El Nino son; Caligula grandson. Add this gorgeous white huacaya female to your breeding program, now bred to another El Nino son - El Nino's Accoyo Lancelot! Price is negotiable, so let's talk!
