Go for high luster black! Renaissance is a very lustrous Suri male with defined medium-sized locks to the skin. His fiber exhibits fineness and density, with coverage from head to his toes. Along with very good lock structure, this full Peruvian black male shows excellent conformation. Note his straight topline and pleasing proportions.
Renaissance is unique in that his bay black fleece is uniform in color and lock style. Judges comment today about the growing number of black and bay black alpacas that have white hair contamination in their fleeces as a problem for breeding programs. Go solid, and use Renaissance to generate solid black and solid dark crias. Renaissance has produced all solid color crias with the exception of a black & white pinto our of a black & white pinto dam. The cria's fleece exhibited the same high luster and lock in both colors of the fleece.
Renaissance has produced several beautiful crias in bay black, true black, dark fawn, light brown, and a black and white multi out of a black and white multi female. See his listing under "Herd Sires" for his crias.

Description
Sunset is a beautiful full Peruvian female with a kind childish personality. The gene pool is spectacular on this girl, starting with her dam DDF Peruvian Tsunami who is a granddaughter to PPeruvian Uribe and PPeruvian Bruxo, let me add that Sunset's dam has producd mainly beautiful girls. 4Peruvian Renzo 6078 as her paternal grandsire and SA Peruvian Renaissance for her sire add to the mix with the possibilities that Sunset carries the black gene we have not bred her to black yet.
Sunset's been bred twice and had 2 excellent girls, please refer to Carpe Diem Alpacas's Peruvian Emily. Excellent mom, producing beautiful quailty. Sunset has excellent luster and fineness and passes it on to her offspring. Sunset is one of those female's that produces offspring better then themselves she an excellent breeder. Health, confirmation and temperament are wonderful.
