Description

Nice lookin' boy out of two dark parents! Imagine the potential. Uniformity. Excellent conformation. Good hand. 2013 histogram: 21.8µ AFD 4.5 SD 20.8 CV 96.3 CF Mocha's sire is CPI Peruvian Ja Maka, Dark Brown, ARI 812566. Although Ja Maka is registered as a dark brown, he is actually a very rich maroon. This is a color rarely seen in Haucaya alpacas. Even at 11 years old he exhibits extreme brightness that has to be seen to believe. His fleece has a great handle to it. Ja Maka did not have a very long show career, but he was very successful, winning two firsts (one at the AOBA national show) and two seconds. Ja Maka passes on his flawless confirmation to his crias. He also passes great fineness and crimp. Ja Maka has 31 registered cria, ranging from white to true black. Mocha's dam, our Peruvian Rose, is a rock solid proven producer of greys, blacks and bay blacks. She has very nice conformation with large bone structure. Judges had commented on her exceptional handle, straight legs with good coverage, and nice size. Her dense black fleece has nice bold crimp. She has 4-5 silver grey spots in her blanket.
