The magnificent El Moustachio lived the first 5 years of his life in Don Julio's plantel herd in Peru. Don Julio admired El Moustachio for his strong characteristics and wonderful temperament. His dense fiber measured 21.5 microns even after being shorn many times. His last shearing in Peru weighed twelve pounds which was more than any other male in the 1995 import. He is heavy boned with perfect conformation. El Moustachio lets the dam's color pass through allowing for color in his offsprings which have ranged from white to dark brown.
