It has been nine years since I first saw Kalvin standing in the pasture at a mere 6 weeks of age. Even at that young age he was a striking male with well defined heavy locks and tons of luster. We purchased him that day and have never looked back. At the 2010 AOBA Nationals Kalvin progeny took first place ribbons in 4 different classes with USA Jeremiah taking a championship and the Breeder's Choice Award. Needless to say it was a good show for Kalvin progeny. Now if you want to add the positive traits of consistency of lock and luster with staple length on a sturdy frame Kalvin is the male you should be considering. Oh, by the way Kalvin has a very bad habit of letting the color of the dam pass through.
