RARE TWINS, ONE MALE & ONE FEMALE. Both are healthy, full of energy, and amazing to watch. Their fleece is very dense, with lots of crimp and staple definition. So, for fiber production, these 2 are big time winners. Update: Both Echo and Willow are doing very well. Their fleece continues to be impressive. As most of you know, they are both non-breeders. So, their value is in their fiber, and that people come from far away just to take a peek at them. Update #2: Echo and Willow are very easy alpacas to work with. They are always calm and get along with the other animals. They still stick together like glue. Even though they are small in stature, their fleece is packed. I suspect their next shearing should produce around 8lbs. each. Update #3: Both continue to do very well. I would classify their size as about 75% normal. It will be interesting shearing them this year. I suspect their microns may be very impressive. They hang together most of the time, but seem to share the same temperment. Update #4: We posted current pictures today. They are very solid, strong, healthy animals. The male is slightly bigger now, but the female has longer fleece. Both fleeces have very good crimp, definition, and staple length. We will do histograms on them this year, and update that information.
