Modelo is one of those males that takes your breath away. He has extreme color, luster, locks, bone and a wonderful suri head! He also has a very solid temperment, easy to handle and gets along well with other males. Modelo has produced several suri cria to date. He has thrown black, fawn, gray, brown and multi...so you can get just about any color from him! His offspring have been show quality and his has been a consistent producer. He is co-owned with Carmella Osborne and James Bell from Bellborne Farm in Findlay Ohio and is currently standing stud there.

Picabo was the very first alpaca that we purchased. She was only 7 days old but she captured our hearts. She has been an outstanding producer and has given us maroon, grey and medium fawn. Picabo has incredibly soft fiber with an excellent handle. She passes this on to her cria. she has had all females and only one male and all have been show quality cria. Her newest addition, Toni's Peruvian Apricot Weizen is another show quality female! She is one of three that I'm taking to the shows this year. Picabo is bred back to Modelo Especial as this has been a winning combination up to this point. I am excited to see what they produce this year. Picabo continues to be one of my very best producers and she will remain with us always.

Description

Apricot Weizen is a lovely daughter of Modelo Especial and Picabo JAX. She is a light fawn female with dark points, an amazing suri phenotype and is definitely show quality. Her dam, Picabo JAX, has produced 6 female offspring and only one male. Apricot is a very correct young female and has great potential for the showring. She will be an excellent foundation female and has some very strong genetics to offer your breeding program. Apricot had a lovely true black female, Toni's Peruvian Miss Me in June 2010. She was re-bred to SMA Wrangler as we were very happy about the quality and color of Miss Me! She has been an outstanding mother and her cria is developing extremely well.
