We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

Amber was the first alpaca purchased by Sunny Meade at a month old. She was bought for her cute factor, but oh what a gem she has been! What better foundation female could anyone own.Amber is currently bred to ACOV Cassanova's Jethro. We're hoping for a beautiful grey or black female!

Description

“Sonny” is one of the most beloved and loveable alpaca on the farm! He even has his own Facebook page "Sonny Alpaca." He is very personable and a perfect specimen of the huacaya alpaca, looking much like his sire, El Nino's Accoyo Michelangelo, from famed Caligula. Imagine Caligula's bloodline matched up with Royal Fawn. What a powerhouse and thunderous lineage combination! His fleece is buttery soft, 19.5 micron count and displays high frequency crimp and substantial density. He does throw color, the darkest so far being a dark brown. Consider Sonny and his incredible bloodlines to enhance your herd. And if you're lucky you'll have a star on your farm too!
