Prime Time, or "Pete" as we call him is exceptional in all aspects, and he's out of one of the great true blacks, Sudden Impact. He has great luster, lock definition, conformation and personality. He is so friendly and easy going, he is the one we normally catch for hands on with visitors. His fiber is also "slick" and cleans out very easily, very little vegetation sticks and hardly any matting. We used him ourselves for the first time in Oct. 2002. That first cria is a beautiful Med. Fawn GIRL out of a dam who is white on both sides all the way back. Certainly a positive show of color from this nice male (that girl threw a TB cria on her first breding to a TB...great color genetics!). Let's face it, luster and hand are THE most important traits...and Pete passes that to every cria! Be sure to go to the AN site of Rancho Milagro and see Mills Avenue Amos, another stunning 'Pete' cria! We just learned that Amos' fawn fiber is now going gray! Another cria out of a pinto dam (outside breeding) is also going gray...way to go Pete! Note: In the first Suri Network Summer Symposium and the largest Suri Fleece Show EVER (284 Suri fleeces)...2 of Pete's juvenile cria had a great showing! FMR Fantasea (TB/W Pinto) won Reserve Color Champion and FMR Mr. Majestic (Dark Maroon) won 1st Place (not enought in class for a championship)...way to go Pete...again! Pete passes his incredible luster and hand to all his cria! Majestic also won 1st in fleece at the Mid-America Alpaca Show '06 and 1st AND best luster at TxOLAN '07!

Dam: Huacho's Minuet

Full Peruvian!

Huacho's Minuet

SuriBred (Female)White
AOA# 182171DOB: 10/28/1996
Minuet was one of the first alpacas we ever saw in person and was our first purchase. She is the dam of our outstanding herdsire, Ricochet. This Full Peruvian dam has had a good record. She did well in the show ring and has produced ribbon winners. People who have been in the business for awhile might recognize the name Huacho, some of his offspring have the most incredible luster, and she throws that to her cria. Due this spring with a Rocky Red cria, expect solid lock with great luster, coverage and hand. Minuet delivered a very nice white male, dense, lusterous, well locked, excellent coverage and hand...sure to be show quality, saying alot considering he's white! Pictures coming soon...

Description

This little guy really has presence and a perfect personality! His dam tends to throw patterns and with his markings and color I would not be surprised if he goes gray as he matures. He has super lock, luster and hand...consistant nose to tail. "Little Pete", as we call him is certainly maturing nicely. There are indications he's gradually turning gray on his topline. We'd hate to see him go, but he needs to be at a farm where he'll be loved and appreciated for his fine qualities and what he can do for your breeding program. As he matures, his hand is still very cool, well locked and nearly blinding luster...and a really cool personality, like his daddy. This young herdsire could really fill a nice niche in your breeding program! He is ready to go to work. Shipping not included at this price. We'd really like to see what he can do as a herdsire, but the genetics just aren't right for us...we hope someone will give him a shot!
