Prime Time, or "Pete" as we call him is exceptional in all aspects, and he's out of one of the great true blacks, Sudden Impact. He has great luster, lock definition, conformation and personality. He is so friendly and easy going, he is the one we normally catch for hands on with visitors. His fiber is also "slick" and cleans out very easily, very little vegetation sticks and hardly any matting. We used him ourselves for the first time in Oct. 2002. That first cria is a beautiful Med. Fawn GIRL out of a dam who is white on both sides all the way back. Certainly a positive show of color from this nice male (that girl threw a TB cria on her first breding to a TB...great color genetics!). Let's face it, luster and hand are THE most important traits...and Pete passes that to every cria! Be sure to go to the AN site of Rancho Milagro and see Mills Avenue Amos, another stunning 'Pete' cria! We just learned that Amos' fawn fiber is now going gray! Another cria out of a pinto dam (outside breeding) is also going gray...way to go Pete! Note: In the first Suri Network Summer Symposium and the largest Suri Fleece Show EVER (284 Suri fleeces)...2 of Pete's juvenile cria had a great showing! FMR Fantasea (TB/W Pinto) won Reserve Color Champion and FMR Mr. Majestic (Dark Maroon) won 1st Place (not enought in class for a championship)...way to go Pete...again! Pete passes his incredible luster and hand to all his cria! Majestic also won 1st in fleece at the Mid-America Alpaca Show '06 and 1st AND best luster at TxOLAN '07!

This girl has very good lock and density. Out of Lorenzo (a beautiful white Bolivian) and bred to Ricochet for a May '08 cria. Ellie's last cria out of Onyx is an exceptional Pattern, half MB and half white. The luster is very nice, lock...very consistant across the colors...and hand is exceptional; nice size and very good confirmation...we had planned to keep Ellie since she's such a reliable producer; however we're putting several on our sales list we normally wouldn't as we need to reduce our herd size for spring crias. Ellie is a solid, proven dam who has great milk, easy deliveries and an excellent mom. When bred to black, she's thrown multi-color, when bred to white, fawn or brown she's thrown solids from white to fawn. Every cria we've had out of "Ellie" has been show quality! Shipping included, as always. Her cria arrived, another beautifully locked, covered, high luster male, light fawn with white on his neck.

Lunar Eclipse (we call him Lee) has a tremendous amount of potential. Out of one of the finest True Black herdsires in the country, Sylvestre El Boliviano, he has fantastic luster and lock with good bone. His dam is a beautiful True Black Chilean import. When we first saw him at about 2 months of age, we knew he was really special. Very tightly curled locks to the skin with blinding luster, especially rare for a True Black. We bought 1/2 interest in him from Mike and Janet Wilkins in a heartbeat. He immediately did well in the show ring as we expected, but one of the best surprises was yet to come, from True Black to Silver Grey. While we already had 2 True Black herdsires, Lee was special enough to add him to our herd anyway...it was certainly a nice surprise to have him grow in Silver Grey down his neck and back after shearing. Notice: "Lee's" first has arrived! Out of a dam who is white on both sides all the way back, we have a beautiful male. He is a medium brown with a distinct "copper" color in the sun. Superb luster, density, lock and coverage...excellent hand.

Description

Chansas Rain follows the line of "Rain Girls"...we're going to run out of ideas one of these days! This girl is an exceptional appaloosa, mostly white with varied dark spots in her blanket, Dark Brown ears and feet. She is confirmationaly correct, her fleece has extreme luster and slick hand that is tightly and uniformly locked. We sort of hope she does not sell, we like her bloodlines and phenotype...will make an excellent foundation dam. She is bred to WLK Lunar Eclipse for a cria this fall. Chansa is out of a black and "Lee" really puts solid color into his cria; we expect a dark brown, mahogany or black out of this breeding. Chansa has lots of spots in her fleece, much more visible after shearing. Her fiber is exceptional in every way. She took a 3rd at one of the largest fleece shows ever, certainly an excellent fleece (our FMR Samurai took 1st).
