TCB'S Cricket has given us four outstanding cria, including 2002 blue ribbon winning grey female, Genesis; a 2003 grey male out of Nic Nac currently being used at stud; the 2004 grey female out of Fire-N-Ice that did well for us in the show ring in 2005; and her 2005 cria out of Zephyrus, a bay black male. The 2005 bay black male, Ark's Zepyriah, is settling females and one-half has been sold to Don & Connie Payne of Oak Lawn Alpaca farm. Cricket has just had another outstanding cria. This time we have a beautiful grey full Peruvian male out of Armani.

EIGHT TIME CHAMPION--all at halter in full fleece! Marathon has ended his show career on the top as one of the best colored full Accoyo in this country. He exhibits incredible fleece with high amplitude, well-bundled, long staple length fiber. Marathon truly has fiber-to-be-seen...and felt. His extremely bright, soft fleece has an outstanding hand that has impressed people across the nation! To describe his fleece as the "new generation" or "elite" is definitely in keeping with its qualities. While this impressive male in not yet proven, he is showing all the right attitude to make him a great stud. Needless to say, we are extremely excited about the prospects of his progeny--from a wide range of colored and white females. Marathon is limited to ten outside breedings in his first year of breeding. There are currently two outside breedings left on his dance card! Marathon is co-owned with Irish Meadow Alpacas and The Alpaca Group, NW.

Description

Genesis is the daughter of grey AOBA winner Nic Nac. She has extremely dense fiber with good character including crimp. Her solid grey color, excellent coverage, heavy bone and good conformation make her a valued foundation herd alpaca. Genesis has also been a consistent producer of quality crias including the 2003 black male cria out of Peruvian Black Forest; a 2004 black female cria also out of Peruvian Black Forest; and her 2005 medium silver grey male cria out of Grand River's Dark Shaddow. Genesis' 2006 cria, Ark's Ruth, was born 8/2/2006. She is a light silver grey out of Tres Cuartas Black Expresso, the black son of CPeruvian Accoyo Express. Genesis is pregnant to our new herdsire, Accoyo America Marathon. This should be a spectacular cria, male or female! Ark's Ruth placed first in the silver grey class of juvenile females at the March, 2007, Spring Fling, Neenah, WI. under Judge Amanda Vandenbosch. Genesis' 2007 cria, bay black "Naomi", out of Hiben Hollow's Kodiak, may be her best yet! At two weeks of age she had a solidly bundled, crimped fleece that looks outstanding. Genesis's 2008 cria, Ark's Martha, out of CPeruvian Express follows in the steps of her sibs. She is a true black with bundling/great crimp and good density and fineness. We are looking forward to her show career in spring 2009.
