AJ DOES add value and marketability to his cria's and they certainly will for yours. He is a predictable color breeder. The lightest color he has produced is light brown. Bring on the white and fawn females! He'll give you color. You want females? Most of his offspring are females! He is able to pass on color, fineness, very little medulation and tight crimp. Alrighty – so here she is…people have been wanting her since her toes hit the ground. We were not sure if we were going to part with her of make her part of our foundation….but we have decided to share her with the world. PLF Peruvian Giggles is a Larissa daughter, one of our very best True Black foundation Female who captured the BANNER at OABA Alpacafest in 2002. This was the 4th or 5th largest show in the country that year. Larissa is made up of elite genetics and produced elite offspring, making Giggles the best to date!!! Larissa’s name means to laugh in Portuguese, which is how we came to name her female cria Giggles. On her sire side – the one and only CPeruvian Axtion Jaxon, the newest addition to Promised Land Alpaca’s stud row. We have been and will continue to specialize in black and grey full Peruvian alpacas for over 16 years. Deciding to add a stud – well he had to be something very special. This guy is almost 13 years old and looks like he is 3 or 4. He is square, typey, jet black, and he is the KING OF LINGERING FINENESS. So we took CHAMPION dam, who makes CHAMPION offspring and paired her with CHAMPION herdsire, who makes CHAMPION offspring and what did we get – the X factor!! Giggles is the best AJ offspring born on our farm. She is extremely stylish in every aspect and moves with pizzazz. Her fleece is ultra fine showing very little variation between her primary and secondary fibers giving a very uniform and consistent micron. She has extraordinary crimp, density, luster, and staple. Full coverage and heavy bone – she’s got that too! We were planning on taking Giggles to Buckeye and National’s this year.
