AJ is a predictable color breeder - no exceptions. AJ has over 85 crias on the ground, 67% are black, 32% are brown, and 1% is gray– from dams from white to black. When bred to black, 100% are black. Color is no problem for this boy. AJ is a tried and true, Full Peruvian, non-fading black macho. His fleece is soft (2000 micron of 18, 2007 22.0 AT 8 YEARS OLD!), crimpy, and virtually free of guard hair. He is full Alianza, alpacas noted for maintaining fineness as they age. AJ has proven himself in the show and with his progeny. A four-time Reserve Champion, AJ has also won more than 20 blue ribbons for halter, composite, and fleece including a blue ribbon fleece award at AOBA. Most recently AJ won the coveted Get of Sire against two white, highly competitive males - very rare for a black. Many of his crias are already in the winners circle garnering first and second places as well as champion and reserve champion awards for halter, fleece, shorn, and composite. Our two-time Color Champion Tina is as good as it gets. Her liniage from both her sire and dam bring the bloodlines of Camelio, Geronimo, and Guellermo into full play. Solid conformation, the head of a champion, and soft, consistent, crimpy fiber always puts Tina at the head of the class. Tina was first bred to two-time Color Champion The Reverand Mr. Black (both were Color Champions at the competative Great Western Alpaca Show in 2005) and produced a true black male, Katmandu - himself a 2x color champion. We then bred her to our 4 time champion Axtion Jaxon and got another true black male, Stormcat, who has soft dense fleece and his dam's beautiful head. Stormcat also recieved 2 championships. His cria are now producing champions, and his owners, Alpacas of Marin, are thrilled. Tina is now bred to Snowmass Golden Sentry, dark fawn son of Snowmass Royal Challenger sporting a very fine and dense fleece. Sentry has a square, robust frame with heavy bone and a beautiful head. His sire, Royal Challenger's breedings have been closed recently with 5 being let out this year at $7,500 each. Sentry is just starting his career and has one cria, a stunning black out of a light fawn. Sentry's micron at one year was 16.2 and he has maintained a very fine fleece. With lineage from Royal Rose, Hemmingway, Chacu, Snowmaster, Vengador, and Bueno, we are keenly anticipating this cria. Mix that with Othello and Camillio, and let the magic happen.
