AJ is a predictable color breeder - no exceptions. AJ has over 85 crias on the ground, 67% are black, 32% are brown, and 1% is gray– from dams from white to black. When bred to black, 100% are black. Color is no problem for this boy. AJ is a tried and true, Full Peruvian, non-fading black macho. His fleece is soft (2000 micron of 18, 2007 22.0 AT 8 YEARS OLD!), crimpy, and virtually free of guard hair. He is full Alianza, alpacas noted for maintaining fineness as they age. AJ has proven himself in the show and with his progeny. A four-time Reserve Champion, AJ has also won more than 20 blue ribbons for halter, composite, and fleece including a blue ribbon fleece award at AOBA. Most recently AJ won the coveted Get of Sire against two white, highly competitive males - very rare for a black. Many of his crias are already in the winners circle garnering first and second places as well as champion and reserve champion awards for halter, fleece, shorn, and composite. Sakura is our oldest female and remains solid in her production of high quality crias. She carries a big frame and is built for making babies. Her dense fleece and pheno type (which she gets from her sire, Whiteout) is passed on to her offspring. All of Sakura's crias have been award winners. Her '03 cria, Stonewall Jaxon, is a multiple Color Champion in fleece, halter, and composite. At the Great Western (the 2nd largest show in the country), her daughter Audrey took Color Champion in 2007. Sakura most recent cria is another stunning girl, Phoebe, sired by Axtion Jaxon. Description

Phoebe is a full Peruvian out of our super star Axtion Jaxon and our tried and true dam Sakura. She carries masses of soft, crimpy fleece that has a long staple length and is consistent. AND CHECK OUT THAT DELICIOUS MAROON COLOR! She is one of those alpacas who is built for making babies. She has correct conformation, has substantial bone on a robust frame, and the body capacity to easily carry and birth crias. We expect her to be an excellent producer with plenty of milk and good mothering instincts - just like her dam, Sakura. Phoebe's full brother and full sister, Stonewall and Audrey, are both multiple color champions. We did not show Phoebe as a youngster - we are being very careful about showing our juveniles because of stress and exposure. Phoebe, is an Axtion Jaxon daughter and WhiteOut grandaughter. She is bred to Maple Brook Barnabus, a 10 x Get of Sire winner with many, many champion cria. Barnabus is the son of MFI Wellington, perhaps the best Augusto son ever produced. Barnabus is beige and let's the dam's color through, so we are hoping for a full Peruvian brown or fawn with the characteristics of a white fleece. These genetics are outstanding - and in color - rare. Don't miss this one.
