AJ is a predictable color breeder - no exceptions. AJ has over 85 crias on the ground, 67% are black, 32% are brown, and 1% is gray– from dams from white to black. When bred to black, 100% are black. Color is no problem for this boy. AJ is a tried and true, Full Peruvian, non-fading black macho. His fleece is soft (2000 micron of 18, 2007 22.0 AT 8 YEARS OLD!), crimpy, and virtually free of guard hair. He is full Alianza, alpacas noted for maintaining fineness as they age. AJ has proven himself in the show and with his progeny. A four-time Reserve Champion, AJ has also won more than 20 blue ribbons for halter, composite, and fleece including a blue ribbon fleece award at AOBA. Most recently AJ won the coveted Get of Sire against two white, highly competitive males - very rare for a black. Many of his crias are already in the winners circle garnering first and second places as well as champion and reserve champion awards for halter, fleece, shorn, and composite. Our partners in AJ, Kings Ranch Alpacas, are selling their half interest. If you are interested, please contact them directly. Their email is: [email protected]

Great Dam with Canadian Bloodlines

HP Wee Lassie

HuacayaBred (Female)Beige
AOA# 20000646DOB: 9/6/200420 yrs
Wee Lassie is a rare Canadian beauty who has proven to be an excellent producer - her latest cria Jaguar is a BLACK COLOR CHAMPION. She is just what we were looking for when we found her in Saskatoon at just six months of age. Her lineage includes the best of Canadian, Peruvian, and Australian genetics - and she can produce color! Her heritage includes Amadeus, Jolimont (Australian) Cinema, Jolimont Pauco, White Lightening (AOBA White Champion), Javier (Canadian Grand Champion) and many more. If these names are not familiar to you, ask us - there's a lot to tell. Lassie has dense bone, a correct bite, and she is well proportioned. Her fleece is fine and dense and she passes this on to her crias. One thing we wanted was the characteristics of a white fleece in a colored alpaca and she was able to deliver. At Dundee Farm we have seen first hand how this outcrossing to proven and rare genetics produces a hybrid vigor in our crias. They are robust, healthy, and problem free. As farmers, we appreciate that. Lassie's crias have all been strong and they thrive. She is an excellent Foundation Dam.

Description

If you're looking for that CHAMPION BLACK MALE WITH THE RIGHT BLOODLINES, look no further. Jaguar is turning out to be an impressive boy. Jaguar's bloodlines on his dam's side are Canadian champions: Amadeus, Javier, Velerio - AND - Australian lines (from the fine-fleeced Jolimont Stud who raise Accoyo lines) from the last import into North America in 2001. If you've never heard of the Jolimont Stud Ranch in Australia, check it out on the internet - very impressive. Jaguar's bloodlines include Jolimont Pauco and Jolimont Cinimo. They are proven lines bringing new bloodstock to North America - an important aspect of renewed vigor and outcrossing. Jaguar is the son of 4x Reserve Champion Axtion Jaxon who needs no introduction to those breeding for fineness and color. He is the king of color, as he has proven in Jaguar bringing black out of a white dam. At first we thought he was dark brown, but after shearing him there is no doubt that he is black. Jaguar showed at the Mid America show placing first in a class of eight. At the Hi-Plains Alpaca Show, he placed first and took Black Male Color Champion. He then went on to take first or second at many shows as well as a Reserve Champion under Judge Diana Timmerman. Now an adult, Jaguar has developed into a solid macho with soft fine fiber on a robust frame. His bone structure, balance, and bite are superior. To SWEETEN THE POT we are including a breeding to any of our studs for one of your girls. Perhaps The Lad, our 3x TRUE BLACK Champ, for more black or our 4x Champion Zamboni? The choice is yours. These stud fees are $2,000, and a great value. This is a great deal that a serious breeder won't want to miss.
