AJ is a predictable color breeder - no exceptions. AJ has over 85 crias on the ground, 67% are black, 32% are brown, and 1% is gray– from dams from white to black. When bred to black, 100% are black. Color is no problem for this boy. AJ is a tried and true, Full Peruvian, non-fading black macho. His fleece is soft (2000 micron of 18, 2007 22.0 AT 8 YEARS OLD!), crimpy, and virtually free of guard hair. He is full Alianza, alpacas noted for maintaining fineness as they age. AJ has proven himself in the show and with his progeny. A four-time Reserve Champion, AJ has also won more than 20 blue ribbons for halter, composite, and fleece including a blue ribbon fleece award at AOBA. Most recently AJ won the coveted Get of Sire against two white, highly competitive males - very rare for a black. Many of his crias are already in the winners circle garnering first and second places as well as champion and reserve champion awards for halter, fleece, shorn, and composite. Our partners in AJ, Kings Ranch Alpacas, are selling their half interest. If you are interested, please contact them directly. Their email is: [email protected]

Dam: Dundee ’s Arabesque

True black Champion

Dundee ’s Arabesque

HuacayaBred (Female)True Black
AOA# 8211960DOB: 1/27/200024 yrs
Arabesque is a three time Color Champion and one of the stars of Dundee Farm. Her micron tested 19.1 at 18 months and is still fine today. She is 3/4 Peruvian, has two true black grandsires as well as sire, and is an excellent mother. Her 2004 cria, Dundee's Jacqueline Jaxon, placed 2nd in a large, competitive class at the Great Western Alpaca Show and went on to win a first place at Fall Festival. Her 2005 cria is The Lad, a 2x Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner in his own right. Her '07 cria, Bentley (7/8ths Peruvian), is a true black, dense, Axtion Jaxon son showing great promise as a herdsire. We bred Arabesque to Adrenalin for a September 2008 cria. Adrenalin has thrown black from fawn, so we think we might get a black cria. This fabulous production female is only offered because we are keeping her son, The Lad, as well as other related girls. As seasoned alpaca breeders know, a herd needs variety.  Arabesque is perfect for those breeding for black who want predictability, pedigree, and champion bloodlines. Arabesque is available with her 07 cria Bentley at a very good price. Call for details.

Description

Jacki is a hard one for us to let go. She is the daughter of our two Champions, Axtion Jaxon (4x Reserve Champion) and Arabesque (3x Champion). In her first show, The Great Western, she took second under Judge Amanda VandenBosch. In her next show, she took first, and then took a second in her final show. As the daughter of two true blacks, she is packed with color. We bred her to Accoyo Augusto (we think that much of her) and were thrilled to get Piper, a dark fawn male with black points and extrordinarily fine fleece. Because we own her sire and will be keeping her son, Jackie is on our sales list. Please call us if you have an interest in buying Jackie. We have some excellent choices on her rebreed and would like to discuss them. If color is in your program, Jackie is a great assett.
