AJ is a predictable color breeder - no exceptions. AJ has over 85 crias on the ground, 67% are black, 32% are brown, and 1% is gray– from dams from white to black. When bred to black, 100% are black. Color is no problem for this boy. AJ is a tried and true, Full Peruvian, non-fading black macho. His fleece is soft (2000 micron of 18, 2007 22.0 AT 8 YEARS OLD!), crimpy, and virtually free of guard hair. He is full Alianza, alpacas noted for maintaining fineness as they age. AJ has proven himself in the show and with his progeny. A four-time Reserve Champion, AJ has also won more than 20 blue ribbons for halter, composite, and fleece including a blue ribbon fleece award at AOBA. Most recently AJ won the coveted Get of Sire against two white, highly competitive males - very rare for a black. Many of his crias are already in the winners circle garnering first and second places as well as champion and reserve champion awards for halter, fleece, shorn, and composite. Our partners in AJ, Kings Ranch Alpacas, are selling their half interest. If you are interested, please contact them directly. Their email is: [email protected]

Xan Peruvian Sakura

HuacayaBred (Female)White
AOA# 800315DOB: 5/16/1997
Sakura is our oldest female and remains solid in her production of high quality crias. She carries a big frame and is built for making babies. Her dense fleece and pheno type (which she gets from her sire, Whiteout) is passed on to her offspring. All of Sakura's crias have been award winners. Her '03 cria, Stonewall Jaxon, is a multiple Color Champion in fleece, halter, and composite. At the Great Western (the 2nd largest show in the country), her daughter Audrey took Color Champion in 2007. Sakura most recent cria is another stunning girl, Phoebe, sired by Axtion Jaxon. Call us if you are looking for a fabulous full Peruvian girl who is loaded with color.

Description

Isadora (Izzy) is the latest in the very successful pairing of Sakura and Axtion Jaxon, which has resulted in two Color Champions and many first place ribbons. Izzy is the full sister of Audrey, GWAS 07 Color Champion out of 54 entrants, and Dundee's Stonewall Jaxon (owned by Hill Country Alpacas in Texas) who is a five time champion. Izzy's conformation is impeccable. She is a proud girl with dense bone, proud stature, and the deep chest and muscled body that will easily carry her babies. Her bite is perfect. Izzy's fleece is fine with a narrow crimp and soft handle. She is a stunning red/brown and is covered with fleece down to her toes. She is dense and sheared six pounds of fiber as a 9 month old. Audrey's dam, Sakura, is one of our best, and her cria have all done well in the show ring. Sakura births easily, has plenty of milk and is an excellent mother. Izzy, like her siblings, is calm and confident - very easy to handle. Izzy's sire, Axtion Jaxon, is a 4 time Reserve Champion, with more than 20 blue ribbons in fleece, composite, and halter in competitive shows including AOBA Nationals fleece show, the Great Western, and the Southwest Regional Alpaca Show. Most recently, AJ won Get of Sire - very unusual for a black - against two highly competitive white males with impressive pedigrees. Choose Izzy if what you want is a high-end foundation female to match or upgrade your breeding program. Price includes a breeding to Adrenalin in the spring. Price will change as her status changes.
