We are very excited about the offspring hitting the ground from our full Accoyo beige son of El Nino (Caligula's best son), who had a 16.3 micron fleece at one year! Dr. Norman Evans did a skin biopsy in the fall of 2005, and according to his results, Michelangelo's density is absolutely unmatched (S/P Ratio of 13.28/1 and follicle density an amazing 107 follicles per sq/mm)! One of the softest AND densest fleeces I've ever had the pleasure to touch! Multiple champion and blue ribbon winner in fleece and halter! Michelangelo had confirmed pregnancies at 22 months, and to date has many healthy CHAMPION offspring on the ground (including ROSE GREY, SILVER GREY, medium brown, light fawn, beige and white! His offspring took blues in both juvenile white male AND female classes at AOBA Nationals, and a grey took a blue at the Futurity! Judge Kevin O'Leary commented that a white Michelangelo offspring he judged at AOBA had "the finest fleece he'd had in his ring all day! Herdsire discounts from SSF do not apply to Michelangelo breedings. We will begin booking a few limited outside breedings for 2008.

Drama Queen is simply amazing- she got her name because she truly commands attention! You can't miss her incredible presence and style- wait until you see her fleece (which is so dense you can barely part it). We enjoyed showing her and she did very well for us, but her show career was cut short due to a slight injury (she recovered fully, we just didn't want to take any chances). She just had her long-awaited Michelangelo cria for us, our first, and we are THRILLED with this gorgeous full Accoyo fawn female!

Description

Michelangelo's first cria born on our farm could not have been a nicer one.... a full Accoyo fawn female! She looks so much like Michelangelo, but also has the traits of her stunning dam, our Royal Fawn daughter SSF Accoyo Drama Queen! She has the unique skin folds on her neck that we have had in only one other cria born on our farm (who became a multi-champion suri), and an early skin biopsy by Dr. Evans has revealed an absolutely unmatched density!!! In the spring of 2007, we tested some of our Michelangelo cria to get an idea of how his extreme density was being transmitted to his cria. We have been hesitant to publish the results, as we know that these numbers may change since the crias were tested very young. Nonetheless, we have had requests to see the numbers so we are sharing them with the caveat that we will test these animals again if we still own them at 12-24 months. Drumroll.... Dr. Evans tested SSF Accoyo Sundancer at 121 follicles/sq mm of skin! Her S/P ratio is 14.67/1. Please inquire for pricing details- we keep changing our minds about selling her!!!!
