His coverage is unbelievably complete from head to fetlock. Andean is just a perfect example of an alpaca that has it all, and the judges agree awarding him 13 blue ribbons and 8 banners. In fact he took the first AFCNA fleece award at the 2006 AOBA national show beating out younger and lighter colored fleeces. He also won the color champion at the 2007 Buckeye show at 5 years of age and as a grand finally to his show career he took the brown champion and the judges choice award at the 2011 Buckeye show at almost 9 years of age.
