Description

I was planning to put this boy on my fiber male list until I sheared him for the first time. Holy cow! It was like shearing cobwebs! This fellow is fine but it's his handle that makes his fleece feel like gossamer. Definitely a breedable boy, with excellent conformation, uncommon genetics, and fiber to die for. Snips is very mellow in temperament (you can tell by how well shorn he is, lol! No cushing, fussing or jumping around, just placid acceptance of his first experience with the scissors). Despite the fact that I don't breed for color, I've decided to put Snips into my own breeding program to take advantage of this exceptional fleece. With his award-winning true-black sire and his gorgeous maroon dam, Snips has color galore in his genetics.
