Hugo is sired by the famous HHSSF Peruvian Accoyo Hershey who has thrown many outstanding show winning offspring! He has correct conformation covered with very high luster and extremely fine dark brown locks that are dense and his coverage is complete. It is apparent from the current '06 pictures that are posted that his lock are forming beautifully within a short period of shearing. Hugo definitely has that special Elite Sire Attitude and it shows in his outstanding presence though his temperament is the standard gentle and easygoing nature of all ATV Studs!

QueLada is another example of the perfection we are finding in our Zeus/QueLinda cross. Both parents pass on their desirable genetics in both correct conformation and high luster fleece with lovely locks. Zeus has unquestionably retained his style and grace as did QueLinda who was rated SUPERIOR in the 1993 Importation records. We learned this matriarch recently passed away after a very fruitful life. She will be remembered with much admiration for her gentle nature and beautiful offspring. Another trait that appears to be heritable and that we are breeding for here at ATV is a gentle temperament and QueLada has the sweetest of dispositions. QueLada produced a beautiful female cria on July 23, 2008 sired by Our Accoyo Ricardo that is a Peruvian Santiago son bringing new genetics to our foundation herd with QueRicci. In 2009, she produced a high luster and beautiful medium fawn male that is sure to be a winner that will soon be going to Colorado. We liked him so much we rebred QueLada to Hugo for her 2011 cria, Que-2 (K-2) born July 20th that is very nice, looking similar to his full brother. QueLala, her 2010 offspring produced a 3.7# prime fleece at her first shearing when she was 11 months. We bred QueLada to Pacific Pride and she is due in May. She appears to produce color when bred to color and Pride's kids are exceptional.

Description

Quen is a full Peruvian offspring from a solid line of great foundation females that are trouble free with good temperament. He is sired by the dark brown, half Accoyo Herhey's Hugo that has consistently produced high luster well locked fleeces. Don't be fooled by the lack of showing as he would have been at the top of his class had he ever been entered. Quen is covered from nose to toes with a dense golden fleece and sports a correct and compact body with good bone density. We are looking forward to adding this golden fleeced young male to our stud lineup in Spring of 2012. Free board for first 30 days...$5.00 per day thereafter.
