Welcome our first cria of 2008! Her name is Biana. She is a nice healthy 20 lbs. Very curious about everything. She has beautiful medium brown fiber that shines in the sun! Her ears, muzzle, and legs are darker yet and fade to dark brown/black. She has very long, very straight legs and the cutest face! She loves to give kisses too! ** Becuase Biana's sire is named Centaur, I did a search online for female centaur names and found hers. And the name suits her just fine :) With strong accoyo genetics behind her (ROYAL FAWN, GRAND MASTER, ALIANZA PERUVIAN CHOCO) she should be a top producer when she gets older :) We can't wait to see how she develops! UPDATE: 8-8-08 BIANA IS DARK ROSE GREY !!!! Just had her shorn and under her cria curls is rose grey!!! Way to go Rose and Centaur !!! New pics coming soon! Update 2010: Biana has grown into a beautiful lady! She is a well proportioned gal that carries her cria very well. Her fiber is still very soft, crimpy, dense and has a long staple length. She has been bred to our own Medallion's Ebony Magic last April and just a few weeks ago gave birth to a gorgeous dark brown girl! She has since been bred to a gorgeous Blue Ribbon Grey Guy! and comes with a free breeding for next year... Biana has tested negative by PCR for BVDV.
