Zeline is the matriarch of our herd. She is an excellent mom with great instincts! She has a great hand, good density, staple length and bold crimp. She is maintaining her fineness and her fleece looks remarkably similiar from one year to the next. She has done well in the show ring in both halter and fleece classes. Zeline has just given us another very nice male cria out of our herdsire, Vinson Massif. We are calling him Zurich. Unfortunately, we have not seen him since we had to leave all of our pregnant girls in Colorado to deliver their babies. Pictures to come!

Description

Zoltan was the first cria born at our farm. He is a very sweet alpaca with very fine, consistent, high frequency crimp, nice staple length,good density, and solid conformation. The yarn from his first shearing sold out at the first event it was offered. Both his dam and sire have maintained fineness as they age, so odds are good that Zoltan will do the same. His dam is out of 382 Peruvian Zephyrus and she is a color champion herself. His sire is an import who has produced ribbon winners in every color. He was the only cria we kept from 2010.
