We are thrilled to announce our new partnership with Pleasant Hill Alpacas & Canterbury Farms Alpacas on this incredible herd sire. Strat is one of the premiere fawn Accoyo herd sires in the country. In just 3 years of cria in the show ring, his offspring have over 35 championships & over 68 blue ribbons. When Genine, our partner from Canterbury Farms Alpacas, went to the 2010 Kentucky Classic, she couldn’t have been more proud; a Strat cria won the white color championship. A Strat cria won the black reserve color championship, & a Strat cria won the brown reserve color championship as well! It is no wonder Strat took 1st place, get-of-sire at that show & at the OABA Alpacafest as well! In addition to these 2 Get-of-Sires, Strat has 5 blue ribbons for his awesome conformation & beautiful fiber. He has never been beat by another full Accoyo in the show ring! Stratosphere is the product of 4Peruvian Accoyo Legacy, the highest selling alpaca of all time, & Accoyo Astillero, the dam of multiple blue ribbon & champion cria. He is 1 of only a handful of full Accoyos that Legacy has EVER produced, & is 1 of only 2 herd sire Medium Fawn Full Accoyo Legacy sons in the world! Stratosphere CONSISTANTLY improves the dam, at every level adding density, crimp, fineness & beautiful coverage & heads to his cria. In addition to quality, Strat adds COLOR as well. He is a rich medium fawn & has produced cria of all colors including black & grey. In fact, almost every black cria that he has produced has become a champion! Call about our Book-a-Breeding Incentives and our special breeding packages. Right now we’re featuring our “Make A Champion Cria” package featuring a breeding to Stat and an Accoyo Invasion breeding for $3500. The best way to make a champion cria is to breed to a male that consistently is producing champion cria. Visit Strat here in New York this summer! UPDATE - at MAPACA 2011 - Strat cria took blues in white, black, beige and brown - the reserve color championship in white and the color championship in black! To celebrate Strat's inaugural visit to NY, we are offering $1k off his breeding fee to the first ten who book breedings with him. That's $1500 for a breeding to Strat!

Sasha is a beautiful Mister Antonio granddaughter/ Hemingway great granddaughter. She has a very fine, bright, and dense fleece with low amplitude, high frequency crimp just like her great grandfather's (Hemingway) She is one of the easiest to handle on the farm. Sasha has given us two awesome female cria that have both done well in the show ring. She is a great mother with plenty of milk. Sasha has had four unassisted text book births. 3 female and one male. NEWS FLASH!! Sasha has just given us another awesome cria (Destiny's Don Juan) a MATRIX GRANDSON!!

Our Peruvian Hachiko

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Beige
AOA# 31794251DOB: 6/1/201014 yrs
Sired by MFI Peruvian Jericho, who needs no introduction, with 1362 Peruvian Honeybelle as a dam. For those of you that are pedigree aficionados, yes this is the same pairing that produced Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah. His pedigree is a great combination of some of the classic original Peruvian imports, Bueno, Don Julio and Inca's Ransom. This is a very dense, fine male on the classic huacaya frame. He has exceptional conformation, with big bone and the square proportions we like to see. He is not a huge male, weighing in at 135lbs, which we prefer. His presence is that pasture is certainly not little. He knows he special and shows it. He had just started his breeding career at Finger Lakes Alpacas, where we were lucky to find him. He currently has a fawn female cria born this summer, that I haven't had the pleasure to see but am told is "one nice critter" by former owner and retired AOBA judge, Polly Michaelis. We have our crias on the ground, black to white and all stunning.

Description

Up for auction is a fine young foundation white dam in a 3 for 1 package with her MFI Peruvian Jericho/PHA Accoyo Stratosphere granddaughter at side. Wow! Pippen is a lovely young lady who is a standout in the pasture. As the alpha female of our little herd, she'll be the first to come front and stand up for her family. Her mid-large frame has very nice bone, with a level top line and straight legs. She has a correct bite and a lovely true to type huacaya head style. Her sire is PHA Accoyo Stratosphere, a Legacy son and her dam Sasha's lineage includes Mister Antonio a well known Hemingway son. Pippen's fiber is very very dense with a soft handle and consistent crimp. She has a very long staple length and very nice coverage. Her first show at 6 months old she took a blue ribbon at the Heartland Classic. Pippen has been bred to Our Peruvian Hachiko, a white full brother of Jeremiah, for a late Spring 2016 cria! Update 6/4/16 - Pippen delivered a healthy white baby girl! She's a great Mom, plenty of milk and her little girl is growing like a weed! I've even caught her nursing another cria and a goat kid! Milk for everyone! But seriously, a great thing to have around if you have another Mom who's sick or lacking in production. Her cria IS included at side and she will be re-bred soon, making this a 3-1 package!! We have a few options for re-breeding, but are leaning towards Sunset Hills Z-Revelation or our young full Accoyo junior herdsire Firecracker. We'll leave that choice to you!
