Sired by elite Allianza Snowmass Peruvian Highlander and grandson of both Bueno and Don Julio. This macho is not just another pretty face. He will bring substance to your breeding program. His fleece is dense with outstanding crimp and great staple length. His frame is solid and his conformation is correct. Add his quiet disposition to all of these characteristics and genetics and this boy is a complete package. GENETIC POWERHOUSE: Sire is Snowmass Peruvian Highlander. Grandsires are Bueno and Don Julio--two of the most notable foundation herdsires in North America. FABULOUS PHENOTYPE: Conformationally sound and correct, he exhibits a proud, strong presence. His dense fleece, fiber characteristics, crimp, and color are outstanding. TEMPERAMENT: We believe temperament is highly inheritable and place a big emphasis on it especially in the herdsires. Emilio is a true gentle man. He is extremely easy to handle, and very well-mannered even during breeding. He passes his great disposition on to his cria. Are you looking for a proven herdsire to step up your breeding program by adding density, consistency, and uniformity? If so then take a close look at Emilio. He offers exceptional genetics and fabulous fleece characteristics for a very reasonable investment. Emilio progeny record is 11 females out of 14 cria.

Sleeping Lady's Rondezvous

HuacayaOpen (Female)Light Brown
AOA# 805881DOB: 9/3/1998
ATTRIBUTES: Low maintenance no- muss, no-fuss production female. Solid and dependable producer of healthy and thriving cria. Brings fineness, uniformity, and consistency to the fiber equation. Great disposition. PRODUCTION FEMALE TRAITS: Solid Foundation Female. Most foundation herds have their matron and "Rondezvous" is ours. When it comes to a production female "Rondie" has it all. Easy breeder, maintains her pregnancies, unassisted births, abundance of milk, maintains weight while nursing, attentive, and her cria are strong from the get-go. Basically a low maintenance, no-muss, no-fuss production female. If you are looking for a solid, dependable producer you have found it in Rondie. PHENOTYPE: Rondie is medium-sized, well-balanced, with strong straight legs. She carries herself with a great deal of pride and has large luminous eyes that will melt your heart. FIBER: To do right by Rondie, I have to break her fiber characteristics out separately. When we purchased Rondie she was 7 years old and did not come with histogram results. At that age we could feel a nice handle but her fiber lacked definition and length. As newbies, we purchased her based on who she was bred to and weren't thinking that much about her fiber quality. Lucky for us that didn't turn out to be a disastrous mistake. Her 2005 cria, Valedar's Prince (WH) maintains one of the best "fiber stats" of our herd. 2006 Fiber Results: Micron 18.1 SD 3.4 CV 18.8 >30% 0.9 2007 Fiber Results: Micron 17.7 SD 3.5 CV 19.8 .30% 0.8 2008 Fiber Results: Micron 20.1 SD 4.4 CV 21.9 .30% 2.2 Her 2007 cria Sundance Kid (MF) fiber stats are just as impressive especially when you consider he is a Medium Fawn 2008 Fiber Results: Micron 22.5 SD 4.1 CV 18.2 .30% 3.7 2009 Fiber Results: Micron 20.3 SD 4.3 CV 21.5 .30% 1.9 Both of the sires are known for fineness but we wanted to know what Rondie was bringing to the equation. In 2009, at 11 years old, we ran our first histogram on her. Well, it is no wonder we have been getting these results. Are you ready for this...at age 11 and being a light brown: AFD 26, SD 5.7, CV 21.8, CF 15.2...Not bad for an old gal! TEMPERAMENT: Calm in the herd and very easy to handle.
