Electra is a true treasure. She has been a fantastic foundation dam for us, giving us spectacular results each time. This is a girl who doesn't need a lot said about her because you can see what she does in her crias. She has produced a Color Champion and her offspring have racked up lots of ribbons, many of them blue! Her latest cria is going to be really fun to show, she's drop dead gorgeous. Electra has produced crias with great fineness (15 microns in their yearling year), beautiful coverage, always straight and strong conformation, and shine galore. Electra has been a very healthy nurturing mother. She is super trouble free and takes our Texas heat like a champ. Her milk is plentiful and her crias have always been healthy and grown well in addition to being beautiful. This girl has given us fantastic production and we hold her in very high regard. She would be an excellent addition to any program looking for excellent fineness in color. You have a lot of breeding options for Electra. It was too hot too early this summer to get her bred back, but she is ready to go this fall. We REALLY love her latest silver grey girl from Katmandu. We could never let Electra go if it weren't for this girl. We were tempted to just breed her right back to Katmandu! However, as we walked out to the breeding pen, we walked past 5x Champ Snowmass Velvet Royale and it hit us; with his supreme density, ultra fineness and grey genetics from his sire, the one and only, Snowmass Royal Rose (sire to Xxxtreme and Royal Challanger)...it would be a fantastic combination. So, that's what we did. We proudly offer her for sale with this breeding.

Description

Holy Moly his first 4 crias are all GIRLS! Extremely dense with fine consistent crimp and great coverage and bone. He has had grey, brown, black, and white. All fabulously fleeced with good bone and beautiful coverage and head styles. Aside from the noticeable density of these kids, the most pronounced feature is the great big bones with fleece just dripping off. If you need a guy to put some ooomph into your girls' production, Sultan's the man! !2008 TXOLAN COLOR CHAMPION FLEECE!Judge Ruth Elvestad commented that usually you see the light silver greys winning but she announced NOT TODAY! She said Sultan "had such an extraordinary almost "lotiony" handle that it pushed him past the lighter colors to win the Championship". He's dense, his handle is beautiful, he has no extending primaries (no gaurd hair extending past the blanket). He has big bones, gorgeous leg coverage (even in our hot humid weather). He's healthy, strong and a good breeder. He's well behaved and unfortunately related to all our greys. Judges love him, Certified Fiber Sorters and Graders love him, WE love him! His dense, crimpy, lotiony handle will be a great attribute to pass on to his crias. Multiple Blue winner & Color Champion, he's a grandson of Royal Inca Legend (nephew to Legend's Challenger of KPR). Each show Judge has had wonderful things to say about Sultan. Commenting on how "this is what a grey alpaca should look like" and "these are the qualities we need to be breeding into our greys". When Silver Sultan was born on our ranch we knew he was special. He is an Exceptional male who we are proud to have in our herdsire line-up. He's a beautiful Silver Grey Aladdin of KPR son (and Royal Inca Legend grandson). He has done very well in the ring since he was a juvenile on up. He took 1st in his 1st show, then 1st again at a competitive level IV show (TXOLAN). As he matures, he only gets better. He has a wonderful handle along with density, fineness, luster, coverage, and character. He also has a body type and solid build that we just love. This kind of fine fleeced density is essential to quality grey breeding. Judges have had great compliments, especially on his very fine multi-crimp per inch fleece. Many times they have stated he had the most pronounced crimp in the class. His maternal line is well known for their exceptional fineness and consistency in fleece. His sire is the Full Peruvian Black Aladdin of KPR who is phenomenal.
