Royal Flush has headed east to Briar Run Alpacas in WV. Congrats to Rita and Ray on purchasing this elite boy. He will also stand at Highland alpacas this winter so check Briar Run's site for details. We have him bred to a couple of our very best dams in hopes for a boy to help replace his valuable genetics in a future herdsire. Our Royal Flush girls are cherished here and drumroll...his last cria here is a stunning dark rose grey boy...hope he grows up just like dad! RF's full brother just sold for $78,000! His progeny are winning big and commanding good prices (including one of the top sellers at Futurity). Genetically it appears that he is 100% Pure Alpaca with no DNA markers for Llama. Perhaps that explains his ability to throw vicuna fineness. His offspring are consistently in the 15 & 16 micron range. Breed him to grey; you get grey! Snowmass describes him and his full brother as "our 2 most influential fine fiber production studs". We feel so fortunate to have been able to obtain him; thank you Skinner family! We were looking for unique lineage and ultimate top quality. He is sire to Snowmass Silver Signature, (featured in Making of Champions II), whose breedings are sold out. Royal Flush was on Snowmass Alpacas Private Reserve herdsire list until he came to Texas. His production is phenomenal. Snowmass thinks so highly of this male that they reserved future breedings to him. Snowmass repeated the breeding of his sire and dam 3 times. Royal Bronze is full brother to Royal Flush "both these studs represent our finest producing line of Grey Black and Brown. Royal Flush is strong boned, has supreme fineness, amazing extension of character, great staple length, and bountiful luster...producing exactly what we are looking for in a colored alpaca. Vicuna fineness with added staple length and intense brightness.." - Snowmass Alpacas. Royal Flush's dam Peruvian Rosa Royal is as valuable in his genetics as his sire. She's thought to be PURE alpaca and at 7 years old had a histogram of 20.5, 3.7, 17.9, 1.9, the CV and % over 30 is what is so outstanding! His sire Andean Bronze is that exceptional dark colored alpaca whose fiber is like velvet. 2001 All-American Alpaca Futurity: 1st Place & Color Champion 2001 AOBA National Fleece Show: 1st Place 2002. Royal Flush has no spots, even distribution of color, and a black face. He can be bred to any color and has thrown beautiful blacks and browns.

Champion Producing Invincible daughter

Snowmass Invincibly Fine

Invincibly Fine has produced nothing but the best for us. She has a nice color gene so we actually breed her for color rather than white. Her last cria took 2 blue ribbons and a Championship in his first two shows as a rich chocolate brown. Her cria before that was a blue ribbon winner in the grey classes. We purchased her as much for her dam (mom to Andean Night) as we did for her record setting sire (who sadly has died). Snowmass Alpacas has a lovely description: "Snowmass Invincibly Fine is one of our reserved genetic treasures from Snowmass Invincible and coupled by her dam, 5Peruvian Tapara, a royal fine dark fawn import that we purchased in the 5th Peruvian Import. She is one of the finest in fleece and has followed true to delivery of this through her extraordinary colored cria. Invincibly Fine has proven her name to run through her genetics. Her first son, Snowmass Royal Endurance, is one who will remain in our program as a herdsire....Snowmass Invincibly Fine is a true testament to the ability to produce just what Snowmass Alpacas has worked for over 25 years in Elite Royal Alpaca...This is the hardest thing for us to let go of but at the same time we are very excited for our genetics to be the next breeder's treasures." We always have a fun time deciding who to breed her to. This spring we'll choose from Snowmass Lunar Challenger, Katmandu, or Snowmass Matrix Madness.

Description

Due to some complications with my health, we're making our herd a more manageable size. We are going on our 14th year in the business and these alpacas represent significant research and genetic advances. I wish I could keep them all, but this is a great opportunity for a well bred Reiling Ranch alpaca at a great price. This herdsire would be a great stud male for someone looking for rich color without sacrificing extreme fineness: I bet you can't find many Snowmass Invincible grandsons out there in the ROSE GREY category! Now that the alpaca world has lost the record setting Snowmass Invincible, this will become even more rare. This young dark rose grey herdsire actually looks just like his sire Snowmass Royal Flush. He is exceptionally fine and we’ll be introducing him to females in this breeding cycle. His dam is a Snowmass Invincible daughter, so his lines top and bottom are pretty fabulous. Sadly, the record breaking Snowmass Invincible passed away after a brief illness so his line will become more rare. Royal Flush was one of our best producers of fine fleeced density and this son is even more genetically advanced with the added lines of his Snowmass dam. We sold our wonderful Dark Rose Grey, Full Peruvian herdsire Snowmass Royal Flush with mixed emotions. We knew we had a few of his daughters but we had no son to replace him with. Well we got an early Christmas gift in 2012 when our gorgeous Snowmass Invincible daughter gave birth to a Royal Flush "mini-me"! Of course we had to name him Invincibly Royal. "Roy", as we call him, exhibits the best of both Royal Flush and Invincible's qualities and we're enjoying watching him mature. He has attitude, but is sweet and easy to handle. He's well conformed with big bones and a tall macho build. His fiber is consistent, extremely fine, and dense. We don't go to a lot of shows, but are very proud of his 1st Place finish at the Alpaca Blast off in the grey category. Like his sire, he's an even mix of rose grey with no spots and lots of true fine fleeced density. So why are we selling him? We don't really have a grey program here and to do him true justice, we really need some grey females to breed to him. He needs to go to a farm/ranch that has grey females and appreciates the fact that he can add tremendous consistency to that program. Like his sire, he should reliably produce grey, but needs to be bred to grey to do so. The good news is that he's ready to breed so you can start using him right away! He's ready to get started so if you love rose grey and love ultra fine consistent color....take a look at this guy! Please call us and we can provide fleece samples or make a time to visit us. We do request a couple of breedbacks to be included in the sale. He has a sumptuously fine handling fleece! Feel free to call or email for more details.
