Hemingway's Tequila is the offspring of a superior dam, Peruvian Ayabaca, and the famous Peruvian Hemingway. He represents all the phenotypic expressions of those elite genetics that you would expect. He is alert, displays Constitutional vigor, is well-proportioned, has good bone, and finishes off the package with cover to the grass and a beautiful head. But you must add his super fine fiber to the equation, which tested 15.8 microns at 12 months and 16.9 microns at 24 months! This fleece is spectacular. Get the suberb genetic combination of Hemmingway's Tequila &Crescent Moon's Manzania, out of 5Peruvian Chaccu, with this beautiful girl! Crystal Ice is a very dense alpaca with exceptional crimp as well. Crystal can boast extreme fineness, uniform crimp along with a a very good staple length, even at her young age. Her density comes from her incredible genetics, which include Chaccu and her fineness from Hemmingway as she is a Hemmingway granddaughter. On her dam’s side the bloodlines are from alpacas that were originally imported from Peru. Her Grandsire, Chaccu, has extremely rare genetics as he came from a state owned breeding program that does not release many alpacas for exportation. His fleece is extremely dense, yet fine, with tight uniform crimp. Chaccu has been called by both Jan Davis and Julie Skinner as the "densest alpaca" they have ever touched. Chaccu won Get-of-Sire at the AOBA national Show in 2001. On her sire’s side she brings the exceptional bloodlines of the famous Snowmass Peruvian Casanova. He was the high seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction where he sold for an amazing $147,000! He had a micron count of 18.3 at 3.5 years of age and his recent histogram is still under 25 microns at over 9 years of age!
