TETON, TORBIO, URIBE & Accoyo! 'get it all here. Don Mateus is 62 percent Accoyo full Peruvian grandson of Torbio and grandson of Uribe. He has wonderful handle to his fleece, brilliant luster, good definition of lock and extremely dense coverage from his nose to his toes. Take a look at the luster! With the sweetest temperment of any animal on our farm Mateus is sure to pass this on to his progeny. He is straight and correct with width through his chest and square perfectly proportionate conformation. He will produce capacity in your females to carry and deliver healthy offspring. All who see him are struck by his solid, regal suri presence. These bloodlines are known for breeding at an early age and Mat settled his first female at 18 months of age. Mateus' dam is a daughter of Teton who is a Uribe son standing at Latah Creek and known for throwing definition of lock. His sire, DPA Don Andreas, is a full Accoyo Torbio son now standing at Royal River Alpaca Farm in Maine whose micron count was an amazing 16.7 at about one year of age. Don Andreas was never shown but has produced multiple champion offspring. MAT'S FIRST CRIA ARE HERE! All his cria have been born very healthy. Mat is passing on very fine micron fleece with definition of lock structure and excellent luster. He allows color to come through and has even produced gray. We guarantee a live suri birth. $1,000 1/2 price special for 'drive by breeding'.

Description

UNIQUE from day one, Solara was the first born of twins. Her brother, Zepher only survived 3 days but his spirit lives on in Solara. She is an incredibly vigorous little girl. 'always into everything and right there looking up at me as if to say, "What's that?" or "What are you doing?" I just love seeing her everyday and I know she will continue to stand out in our herd. Her dam, Kontikki has won many fleece awards and has the outstanding personality that Solara inherited. She is definitely our PR female. When she surprised us with twins her picture ended up on the front page of the Union Bulletin and the timing could not have been better, as it was on National Alpaca Farm Days weekend. Solara has perfect conformation, wonderful presence, excellent bite, and her fleece has such high shine that it looks wet. 'very nice coverage. It is a little early to determine the density but her dam's shear weight was 8 lbs last year. Solara is learning great mothering techniques from her dam and will most surely be a wonderful producer. Solara's sire, Torbio's Don Mateus has fantastic genetics including Uribe and Torbio and produced many wonderful cria for us before we sold him last year.
