Silver Spoon Viola

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Rose Grey
AOA# 31838245DOB: 9/3/200915 yrs
Viola has the best of two worlds. He has a regal and ever-watchful bearing, a large frame, with good, straight conformation, a model temperament, spectacular fleece characteristics, & a Champion lineage to match. His dense fleece is soft, fine and crimpy, with a well-defined lock structure. At the age of 20 months, Viola was ready to start his breeding career, and so, we are expecting his first crop of crias in Spring 2012!! In 2010, he was appraised by both Jude Anderson and Amanda VandenBosch. They said: "This young male has a good head, a well-balanced frame, and a good bite. His fleece displays good staple length, has a very nice handle, and an even medium rose grey blanket." His sire, SNOWMASS PERUVIAN CASANOVA has arguably produced more Champion Offspring than any other Gray Breeding Male in North America! High seller at the 2002 Celebrity Futurity Auction, Casanova was sold for an amazing $147,000! In 2003, Casanova took home the prestigious Futurity Herdsire of the Year honors for his outstanding offspring. In 2005, his son-Snowmass Nova took home the Futurity Dark Herdsire of the Year, and then in early 2006, was sold for a mind-blowing $300,000!!! That was the first time a sire and his progeny have won this prestigious award!! Then, there is Casanova's sire--PERUVIAN BUENO. Bueno's accomplishments and award winning cria are so numerous, it is impossible to list them all. Picked as the #1 choice by three of the country's leading Alpaca breeders, this super Peruvian Macho was the high-selling Alpaca at the 1994 Spring Celebrity Sale. Bueno has also produced more "Get of Sires" than any male in the country - he is simply legendary. On Viola's OTHER side, there is first his dam: PV ROCKFORD'S RHAPSODY, out of AUSSIE ROCKFORD and FABIA OF STAR HILL (out of the top west coast grey herdsire--FANTASY'S GREMLIN & a maroon dam. Her offspring won numerous blue ribbons as well.). In 2008, Rhapsody took a Blue Ribbon in Yearling Grays at the Heart of the Valley in Halter and a 3rd in a competitive class at CABA. Then, there is the famed Silver Gray half-Accoyo AUSSIE ROCKFORD, out of Legendary Accoyo PPERUVIAN FELIX--who was known to throw a wide range of colors and fine fleeces, champions and high selling alpacas--& HANNAHRUH--who's every cria was an award winner or color champion, including the well-known Painted Sky Apres Vous, Aussie Colorado Dillinger, and Aussie Rockford. Aussie Rockford has won ribbons all over the country, in every show he has been in. Of his 186 registered offspring, almost 80% are either black or gray out of dams of varying colors. All of his amazing attributes, he passed onto Viola. As you can see, with this male comes extraordinary potential. What would a Casanova offspring do to enhance your sales list? Thank you Mother Earth Alpacas for choosing Viola for breedings!!

Dam: Emerald T Invierno

StudMaster lineage + 3-in-1!!

Emerald T Invierno

HuacayaBred (Female)Bay Black
AOA# 1256253DOB: 12/9/200915 yrs
Invierno means "Winter" in Spanish, and comes from black and grey Champion genetics. Her sire is none else than Full ACCOYO RIVERWOLF--a true force in the show ring, and sired by the great, black Incan CPERUVIAN BLACK HAWK, who earned 2 consecutive Color Championships, plus numerous other awards!! Riverwolf's dam--WOLF DEN O'BABY--is an award winning black female, sired by the amazing OTHELLO (Son to the famous PPCAMILIO!!) Wolf Den O'Baby earned both both black halter and fleece championships, plus numerous 1st place ribbons, and at 4 years of age, her micron was 18.7!! Other famous paternal ancestors are PERUVIAN GERONIMO and PPERUVIAN GUERLLERMO. Her dam also is no less--with CALIGULA and MODESTA in her genes!! Invierno herself, has extremely dense fleece, which displays incredible handle, long staple length, sheen, and uniformity, plus her conformation and body type are excellent. Invierno has proved to be an incredible mom, so far birthing large colored cria! Her 2012 female-Verano (meaning "Summer in Spanish), was a gorgeous bay black, sired by Silver Spoon Viola--our Medium Rose Gray herdsire, who is an outstanding son of Snowmass Peruvian Casanova (sire of Snowmass Nova) & grandson of Aussie Rockford. We liked this breeding so much, that we have rebred Invierno back to Silver Spoon Viola twice, producing a gorgeous Rose Gray female last year - Dusty Sardonyx, who weighed an incredible 21.5 lbs at birth, (a quick and easy birth too), and this summer, a bay black/silver gray male - Asphalt (included in this auction). THIS AUCTION INCLUDES INVIERNO, HER 2014 SON-ASPHALT, AND A FREE REBREEDING TO THE RBR STUD OF YOUR CHOICE! NOTE: The cut-rate prices of our girls are NOT a reflection of their quality. We simply need to make room for the new cria coming on this year! Our loss is your gain!!

Description

Dusty Sardonyx, or "Nyxi", is a gorgeous Rose Gray female with LOTS of fleece and black and grey Champion genetics. Nyxi is primed to produce color! While we failed to send in Nixie's first year samples (it was lost) we did send her 2nd year sample in. She had a 18.7 AFD, which is not too shabby. Nixie is also one of the most curious of our herd and she is one of the first to see who is visiting! Her dam - Invierno is sired by well-known Full Accoyo Riverwolf--a true force in the show ring, out of black Incan Cperuvian Black Hawk. Other well-known anscestors from her mother's line are Peruvian Geronimo, Pperuvian Guerllermo, Caligula and Modesta! Nyxi's sire - Silver Spoon Viola - is also packed with genetics and fleece. Not only sired by the well-known Snowmass Peruvian Casanova (sire of Snowmass Nova), but you'll see Peruvian Bueno, Fantasy's Gremlin, Accoyo Peruvian Felix! Talk about color and fleece!!! Update*** Nyxi had her cria! She is a dark brown beautiful girl who is close in color to her Sire. She has a great confirmation (very straight legs) as for her fleece - the initial results look good . . . or should I say feel good. We are excited about her going forward. Nyxi sells with her 2016 cria at side! Nyxi has been bred to Bolero for a 2017 Cria.
