AOA# 830741DOB: 10/31/200123 yrs
Although Now Deceased , we have chosen to leave Haya's listing available as he played such a huge part in establishing our herd. His children and Grandchildren Grace our pastures, and he will forever be our Macho! The rarest of the rare of alpacas. Full Peruvian, Accoyo lines, light silver grey, Harlequin, Appaloosa, with a solid blanket and appaloosa spotting in all the best places. His stature defines the word herdsire, standing at 5'2" weighing 227 lbs, and perfectly proportioned - Haya is all business! He is a many times over proven male and has quickly proven to make gorgeous babies! Haya's Grandsire is the famous PPeruvian Pluro G4571. Accoyo Pluro,A superior sire, was bred by Don Julio and used in his "Majada De Plantel", his best herd. This is no small honor in my book. Haya would make Don Julio proud. In the short time PPeruvian Accoyo Pluro was in the US, he produced many exceptional offspring making him one of the top herdsires in the country. Then early in his breeding career he was sold to an Australian investor and was one of Australia's top herdsires. Accoyo Pluro's offspring are known for their incredible fiber and coverage, in addition to large bone. Pluro is now deceased(2003), making his genetics very rare. Haya passes on his excellent conformation & upright presence to his crias--they have a lot to stand tall about! With nice crimpy fiber as well as awe. He has produced a wide variety of colored cria including several greys, brown, fawn, black, appaloosas & replicas of himself, with more Harlequin greys! The judge commented at the AOBA National show on his excellent proportion and beautiful head. "He is such a stunning male!" He is the King of our pastures for sure. On his 10th birthday in 2011 we closed Haya to outside breedings to protect our investment in this one of a kind male.
