Helga passed away in 2014 from coronary failure. She was our herd matriarch for 11 years and we have left her here on our page for reference as we have many of her children, grandchildren & even Great grandchildren still on our farm. RIP my old gal.. you are missed! Helga was a full Peruvian inutero import. Just all around an awesome alpaca! She has excellent bone structure and a wonderful crimped fiber. She just has a wonderful look about her, kind of like a Dr. Suess character. Then the quality is just unbelievable, Have a look at her 7 year old micron scores. She still has fleece softer than many 2 year olds. It just doesn't get any better! We cannot wait for another Helga offspring!!
