Kuska welcomes CALIGULA'S X-MAN to our 2010 herdsire line-up. X is a very stout male with strong bone structure, superb fleece - crimp, bundles, the whole 9 yards. We are excited to have him ready to go to work for us this spring. Sometimes, like they say a picture is worth a 1000 words and when you look at his fiber , well that is enough said. His sire is PERUVIAN PAYDAY a top producing Caligula son, who has over 60 cria on the ground. Featuring many award winning offspring and several get of sire wins. X's background gives a double dose of Caligula from his maternal grandsire PPERUVIAN MITO, although we do not practice line breeding here at Kuska, I cannot think of a better animal to double up on than Caligula. X-MAN is showing the strong character of this line and no doubt about it this fiber is the tops! Unfortunately he was not shown as a youngster, but 1 look tells you he would have done well. We will look forward to showing his offspring for years to come. We did send his fleece to the 2010 show and at 4 yrs old he took a 3rd in the 2yr old class.. What a fantastic 1/4 Accoyo female, She is an exact copy of her mom, our foundation female Nellie, One of my favorite girls with a wonderful disposition! She has the same people friendly attitude as her mom. She is eager to visit with people and one of the friendliest girls ever on the farm. She carries some extreme genetics featuring Accoyo Felix, Accoyo Finito, & Peruvan El Cid in her bloodlines. Her color is True Black, Dark Silver grey and white, and she has a very dense high frequency crimp like her dad Yana. She is an excellent girl all around! Full Peruvian son of DERWYDD PERUVIAN HAYA , a male that needs no introduction to Harlequin breeders. Haya's Grandsire is the famous PPeruvian Pluro G4571. Accoyo Pluro,A superior sire, was bred by Don Julio and used in his "Majada De Plantel", his best herd. This is no small honor in my book. Haya would make Don Julio proud.In the short time PPeruvian Accoyo Pluro was in the US, he produced many exceptional offspring making him one of the top herdsires in the country. Then early in his breeding career he was sold to an Australian investor and was one of Australia's top herdsires. Accoyo Pluro's offspring are known for their incredible fiber and coverage, in addition to large bone. Pluro is now deceased(2003), making his genetics very rare. His dam Peruvian Pastel is from CH Tecumsch, is a Blue Ribbon-winning Male and Accoyo Royal Fawn Grandson out of AFA ROYAL PERUVIAN ARISTOCRAT. Always planning for the future..
