Double Dutch's American Spirit has done an outstanding job of reproducing consistently his genetics. His fiber won his class at Nationals as well as "Best Suri Luster" overall the suris entered. Dutch has that Awesome fine Suri fleece, above average density, and uniform lock structure that will be genetically passed on. Dutch's progeny have done extremelly well in the show ring all across the country. Dutch stamps his offspring with his luster and dense locks. With correct bone structure, full coverage from head to tail, Dutch is the total package.

This girl is producing Champions every breeding! She had three offspring in the Showdown Auction in Florida in 2014 and we sold them all!!! Her cria are born to be Champions!!! She is bred to 5 time Judges Choice Midas for a July baby!!! WOW!!!! A beautiful female white cria was born on 7/18/2014 out of 5 Time Judges Choice winner Midas. She has already bannered in the show ring. Her name is Sakata. She presently has a elite white male cria born 8/8/2015. She will be rebred in the spring 0f 2016 to Goldstar's Bojack! Dr Norm Evan's skin biopsy report: “Sierra Silk” was biopsied as a 8 year old white suri female. Her ARI# is 30583009. Her 15x scan shows fiber clusters that are mostly uniform in shape but irregular in placement within her connective tissue. Her density was 43.5 follicles SQ MM of skin on a 10 MM punch which requires no adjustment. Her S/P ratio from 25 fiber clusters average 11.9 to 1. Note on the S/P & 250x scan that near 30% of her secondary fibers are medullated as shown by the red spots in the center of the fibers which should relate to excellent handle. She shows level 2 of 4 gland structure. One hundred secondary fibers averaged 25.9 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 33.3 microns. This equates to a micron variation of 7.4 microns which is a much better than average spread especially for her age.

Description

Here she is and boy is she a good one! This is the last offspring out of The Super Stud DDF Double Dutch's American Spirit born on the Miller-McMahan Alpaca Farm, and Inca grandaughter. When we sold Dutch to Patricia Dempsey at Beloved's Farm's we were able to do one final breeding with a female of choice. I choose 2008 National White Color Champion LCA Sierra Silk and the results were more than I could have ever imagined. This girl displays extremes in luster, density, fineness, and coverage. Her fiber characteristics propel her right in to that elite fiber catagory. Remember, this is the last offspring offered out of Dutch born here to Miller-McMahan Alpacas. We decided to put her up for public auction for someone to show her and then use her in their production line knowing full well that she will bring them cherrished memories. You have to check this one out!!!
