Includes 2011 breeding to Color Champ
Oberon's Highland Titania
Alpaca, Huacaya, Bred (Female) | Medium Fawn
AOA #31448413 | DOB: 9/11/2008 (16 yrs) (Due Date: 9/5/2011)
Sire: Highland Oberon
Oberon has grown into a stunning herdsire. As a juvenile his fiber looked great, as evidenced by his 2005 awards. The color champion regularly came from his class. As a yearling, his presence became just as impressive as his fiber and conformation. He is out of our AOBA 2000 Reserve Color Champion bay black female and our own Highland Lochinvar. Lochinvar (out of Snowbelt's 5P Capuccino) has placed in over 10 classes of the best white males in the country, including a blue ribbon at MAPACA. Not bad for a guy out of a brown sire! Our goal in breeding to Lochinvar is to improve the fiber of the dam without sacrificing her color. I believe we have achieved this in Oberon. His light brown fleece is dense, bundled, and crimpy from tail to topknot. Judges really can't say enough nice things about his presence, conformation, and fiber. His most recent 1st place AND RESERVE COLOR CHAMPION award at the 2007 North Carolina Celebration was as affirmation that he continues to be judged as one of the top three light brown boys on the East Coast! With his first two cria he has certainly met our expectations. He produced a medium brown out of a white and a bay black out of a bay black.
WOW: Highland Oberon is now the AOBA Blue Ribbon winner for 2006 in the light brown class! Judge Jude Anderson called him the "total package" for conformation, head style, fineness of fiber, coverage, and crimp.

Description
Here’s another Oberon girl that demonstrates his ability to put dense, crimpy fleece on his offspring. With a great looking head and full coverage, Titania is a solid female now bred to Accoyo Principe Dorato and due in April 2011. Her price includes her 2011 breeding, so repeat this breeding for another half Accoyo beauty, or go for color with Georgetown. With our nationally recognized herdsires and their genetics, you won't be disappointed with your breeding options! We've started out with Accoyo Principe Dorato. "Prince" routinely produces cria with AFD's in the 16-17 micron range with lovely dense and crimpy fleece. You might consider MFI Peruvian Georgetown, a true black multi-blue ribbon winner and Color Champion to test her colorful genetic background. Another choice to improve fineness and keep her rich color would be Ferrari's Accoyo Enzo. With quality genetics, good conformation, and density, Titania represents a good choice for a foundation female.
