Principe is the proud sire of the 2012 AOBA Nationals Male Fawn Color Champion! Sinstina's Accoyo Destinati followed up his Reserve Color Banner at Nationals in 2011 with the Color Championship in 2012. A great tribute to Principe who continues to produce banner winners in all colors. There are not many fawn full Accoyo herdsires, but if you add the Legacy genetic line to that description, you really have something special. Now take the description and include his remarkable show career, and the result is a male that is predicted to make a huge impact on a farm's breeding program. Placing in the top two positions at large Level V shows, this boy has been judged with all the top fawns in the country by the most experienced judges. Even at 7 years of age, his fleece feels SOFT and DENSE. His 2010 histogram showed a 23.7 AFD with a CV of 18.1. Prince's cria have demonstrated his ability to pass along color, even through white dams and provide great fiber qualities and conformation. Prince's cria have included dark fawn, tuxedo gray, medium brown and black . He is throwing color darker than the dam 70% of the time! Even better than his ability to produce color is the remarkable fiber his cria exhibit. You'll be happy with the fineness...routinely 15-16 microns...and the beautiful crimp and density he provides. Prince has over 10 Banner winning offspring to his credit in gray, brown, and fawn and this Spring produced his first Judge's Choice winner from Alpacas of Pine Creek Valley. At the 2011 Southern Select Show, Prince had three banner winners from three different breeding programs...including his newest rose gray female! Last year Prince put TWO classic tuxedo gray cria on the ground for us out of gray dams!! Contact us for additional details on his cria and his fiber. Principe is part of our Highland's Progeny Promise. You have the choice of selecting a Herdsire and putting down only $500. When the cria is born, you will only pay the balance when You decide to register the cria. Our breeding fees are very reasonable...all under $2200 for Champion herdsires...so you are still getting a great value for your breeding dollar! Check out the details on our home page or contact us for more information. We feel like Principe is another good choice for breeders looking for density, fineness, and lovely crimp structure...along with Accoyo genetics... for their breeding females. Co-owned with Legacy Criations and Windy City Alpacas.

Casanova's Peruvian Crown Prince

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Silver Grey
AOA# 30590557DOB: 8/21/200618 yrs
We named him "Crown Prince" for a reason. We believe this guy could be the heir apparent to his legendary sire, Snowmass Casanova. Out of our black AOBA Res. Color Champion, Boadicea, he has the fiber and conformation to make heads turn. His dam Boadicea was the queen of the show circuit in 2000 with folks waiting at the ring to purchase her as she won yet another blue ribbon. We made the decision to keep her as part of our foundation stock. She has rewarded that decision time and time again with Champion cria. She is dam to Highland Oberon, a Reserve Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner (including AOBA), The Scotsman, a black Reserve Color Champion and multiple blue ribbon winner, and Highland Boudica, a multiple Color Champion. Crown Prince's first fleece sample came back as AFD 17.7; SD 3.8; CV 21.5; %>30 0.9....YES, A GRAY FLEECE. Crown Prince has combined the best of his dam and sire to be an example of the fineness, density, crimp, and conformation that is making him in demand even as he just starts his breeding career. He began last Fall's show season off with a bang! At the Empire Extravaganza he placed second to the Reserve Color Champ with the judge stating he had the finest fleece in the class. At the No. Illinois Alpaca Show, Crown Prince was awarded the Blue Ribbon in his class AND the Color Championship. Judge Jill MacLeod took very little time to select him as Champion. Crown Prince is consistently rewarded for his fine fleece that shows good staple length, crimp and density. We believe that he is certainly one of the finest Peruvian gray males on the East Coast. With confirmed pregnancies from the summer, this is the time to add Crown Prince's excellent genetics, conformation, and fiber to your herdsire options. Please contact us for further details. Description

We were hoping for a black cria out of this pairing, but the fleece on Allegro makes up for the change in color. Allegro’s fleece is dense, fine, crimped from tip to skin with a luster that brings a smile. She was a great candidate for a breeding with Crown Prince (our multiple blue ribbon gray) or Georgetown, a 4X banner winner with black fleece that is soft and dense. One half Accoyo, Allegro has incredible potential for whatever a breeder would like to do with color. She already brings to the table the popular benefits of black and gray genetics (from dam), and fawn Accoyo genetics (Legacy line). We picked Crown Prince for her first breeding and Allegro produced a fine fibered rose gray male out of Crown. We love it when breeding plans actually come to fruition! Rosen Cavalier has ribboned in three shows behind another Crown Prince offspring. Allegro was then bred to Lancaster's Highland Chieftain and delivered a beautiful light fawn female cria for us in May. Aria has already drawn the attention of judges in the show ring with her perfect conformation, outstanding fiber...and great look. Aria is such a nice female, we would suggest another breeding to Chieftain and expect another fabulous cria for 2016. We also have interest in our breeding males or herdsire quality younger males to include in a package. Our primary goal is to send our alpacas off to reputable breeders to insure their continued production success and health. If you have a need for upper end females, we have the females, the price, and the terms that will make your next one of quality and financial feasibility.
