Jessica is a beautiful rich black statuesque alpaca with excellent conformation! She has given birth to 2 spectacular females; Her first cria, Crystal Star Sophia, sold for $30,000.00 at the Eastern Extreme Alpaca Auction in September of 2007! Her second cria, Crystal Luna de Miel, is as beautiful as her 1/2 sister and mother! She is a tall female who already weighed in at 113 pounds at 8 months of age! Luna's sire is Hobby Horse Great Expectations, Dickens and we were so impressed with their offspring that Jessica is again due with his cria this summer Two of Dickens 2008 crias (the first year his crias hit the ground) already sold for $20,000.00 a piece before 1 month of age! We are very pleased with Jessica being one of our foundation animals and we currently have her 2nd female cria, Luna, for sale on our site.

Description

Sophia combines great genetics, a good production record, and an engaging personality to make her a farm favorite. If the tack room door is left open, Sophia is the one who is in there trying to lift off the metal top to the food bin! She is a wonderful mom to healthy cria and has been able to produce jet black cria out of a variety of black and gray herdsires. Sophia has been on our foundation female list since we purchased her at auction in 2008. Here is an opportunity to get a solid female with the genetics and production record to add to a black breeding program. She has just been confirmed bred to MFI Baird, the two time Futurity Black Futurity banner winner. This breeding is a repeat of the one that created Baird's Black Baroness, a black beauty now in production for a well established farm in Oregon. We also have interest in our breeding males or herdsire quality younger males to include in a package. Our primary goal is to send our alpacas off to reputable breeders to insure their continued production success and health. If you have a need for upper end females, we have the females, the price, and the terms that will make your next one of quality and financial feasibility.
