WRSR Claytonite's Starlight
SuriOpen (Female)Dark Rose Grey
AOA# 31137652DOB: 10/14/200717 yrs
Jan. 1, 2009, the ARI listed only 53 dark rose grey females, and of those only a handful are full Peruvian lineage. Starlight is a very rare and unique full Peruvian female - a deep burgundy maroon base color the same as her sire, the purple-maroon Claytonite, with advancing grey highlights throughout her fleece. She is becoming more and more grey with each passing month. She has a beautiful soft fleece with both locking and luster on her 2nd fleece. Her sire is Cantano's Peruvian Claytonite, the legendary deep solid purple-maroon color with top awards in halter and fleece. Starlight's dam is a medium rose grey with rich medium brown as her base color, and a very fine, soft fleece.
Starlight has proven herself as a good production dam, delivering her 1st cria "Storm Warning" by WP Felipi without any difficulty. Storm Warning is a beautiful solid deep maroon male with high luster, uniform locks and lovely fineness. Storm Warning has won 3 Color Championships at AOBA and MAPACA Fleece Shows!
Starlight was shown twice in 2008 as a juvenile and placed a strong 2nd in both tough shows, one of which was the 2008 PAOBA Breeders' Choice Show judged by Diana Timmerman. She was awarded 2nd in a class of 5 at the Maryland Alpaca Celebration judged by Wade Gease.
Starlight and her mother, Starlight, are very bonded, and play together like crias. They chase, wrestle, look out for each other, and lay next to each other. It's really fun to see this mother-daughter duo's antics! I would like to sell them together and offer special pricing on the purchase of both of them.
Consider this extremely rare suri to protect your alpaca financial investments, then look forward to producing beautiful grey crias. She comes with a complimentary breeding to a Wild Rose herd sire, including champion full Accoyos and medium silver grey Champion WRSR Peruvian Mercury Rising. Full breeding guarantees.
