Dupioni is currently in Oklahoma at Our Field of Dreams Ranch.
Dupioni's crias are taking home the ribbons, including a NATIONAL CHAMPION! Rare Full Peruvian Accoyo/Alianza genetics.
Dupioni is a very uniform light fawn herdsire with very, very dense and beautifully bundled fleece. His fleece exhibits consistent finger bundles with high-frequency crimped lockets. He is ultra fine with virtually no visible guard hairs. We are confident that this purchase from Snowmass Alpacas brings amazing quality to our breeding program and offers the same to yours.
Dupioni now has more than 40 crias on the ground. He's producing great color with extreme shine, not to mention the awesome character and density. Dupioni seems to be very capable of passing color from the dam to the offspring and, even more impressive is his ability to pass his extreme density and fine hand to his progeny. The judges have consistently commented on the Dupioni crias as being the "densest in the class."
Dupioni is a half-brother to Snowmaster, who sold for $250,000, and half-brother to Snowmass Bullet Proof, who sold at a Snowmass auction for $51K. Dupioni hit the show ring twice in 2004 after joining our herd - both times taking the Blue at over 4 years of age! and one time winning Color Champion.
Dupioni's sire, Elitus, has only one ARI registered sibling (that left the United States with his dam), and therefore, Elitus' sister has no ARI registered offspring, thereby making Dupioni's genes extremely rare.
Dupioni is co-owned with Our Field of Dreams Ranch in Shawnee OK. For more information, contact Kathy Zabar at 614-804-2474 or
