If you know your Bolivian lines, you will surely know of Sterling. He is an Impact Herdsire when it comes to the Bolivian breeding stock. He has produced a wide array of color from light fawn to beautiful rose grey. If you've ever seen Sterling, you would not forget him. He has the most beautiful brown eyes you will ever see. At 14 1/2 yrs. old, he still produces fine, crimpy fleece that is very useable for prime fleece yarns. Sterling’s histogram at importation was AFD 19.7, SD 3.5, CV 17.8 and %>30 of 0.8. That is very typical for the Bolivians - exceptional fineness with low SD and CV and most pleasing, fewer than 1% of their fibers greater than 30 microns. Want to add fineness? Want to add Bolivian quality to your herd? Breed your girls to Sterling! Sterling is being used very sparingly and cannot perform drive-by breedings. Time is running out to get Sterling genetics into your Full Bolivian herd.

HuacayaHerdsire (Male)White

Troubadour is still standing stud at our farm. He sheared 9.9 lbs this year at almost 13 years ld. HE is still one of my best studs! We first showed Troubadour in 2013 at the age of 5. We were so happy that the judges could see what an outstanding male he was. He is still holding that beautiful architecture. he is maintaining that beautiful high frequency crimp with the density and fineness for his age at 24 micron. In 2016, I did histograms on all of his cria's that were her. They were from 13.9 to 18.1. Troubadour is throwing that low micron. He also is giving his cria excellent fleece coverage and That Head! Troubadour has a pleasant laid back personality which his cria's seem to have also. I cannot say enough about using this male in your breeding program.

Description

UPDATE: Beautiful Light Fawn female cria at side. Cria sold! Beautiful Maria of Bolivia. She is truly a beautiful girl. Full Bolivian and a spectacular specimen for our Bolivian herd. If you're a Bolivian collector, this may be one for your collection. She's dense and curly-crimpy. Her conformation is spot on and she is simply beautiful, as her name implies. This is no surprise considering her awesome sire, Sterling of Bolivia! He is notorious for producing extremely high quality, fine fibered crias with awesome coverage and that perfect typey full Bolivian look! Maria's dam is one of our spectacular foundation females, Bolivian Charla, who knows how to produce some awesome offspring herself. We knew what we were doing when we bred her to Sterling and we are very excited at the result! Maria is spectacular with some fabulous dense, crimpy fiber. She will of course be kept here free of charge until she is weaned and ready for her new farm.
