Friar Tuck is conformationally correct with great leg coverage and his fiber has nice crimp, great handle. It took first place in the 2006 VAOBA Alpaca Expo Spin-off. His color is Light Fawn but actually has an apricot hue to it. Friar Tuck is out of DAFI Tabitha sired by Peruvian Ringmaster, well known for his wonderful fiber. She is an excellent mother, very attentive and caring. His sire, Knight of Camelot, has perfect conformation, heavy bone and soft handle to his fine, uniform, lustrous true black fleece. Tuck has inherited the best of both! We are pleased to report that Tuck has a few cria on the ground. He sired Quinn, Autumn Bliss, Angel and National Treasure. Quinn and Tuck are hardly distinguishable in the pasture. They share the same color, presence and attitude!

Description

UPDATE: 5/10/15 Autumn had a beautiful baby boy born on mother's day what a wonderful surprise as she was not thought to be bred. Price includes her male cria photoed here. Autumn Bliss has grown into a beautiful female having pulled great qualities from both her sire and dam. She has the stately, regal look of her dam and grand dam and the wonderful conformation of her sire. Though listed as medium brown she has a wonderful red tint to her fiber that spins into a beautiful yarn on it's own or gives depth if blended. Her fiber won fifth place in both the MABA and VAOBA spin off competitions in 2011, not too shabby for her first entry in two popular shows. Bliss is being bred the spring of 2014 to HDF Hunter out of Wildwood Alpacas. Hunter has proven himself in the show ring and in fleece competitions and even has a Reserve Color Champion banner and multiple halter and fleece ribbons to prove it. Judge Wade Gease's award of the Reserve Color Championship to Hunter and his comments on how incredibly uniform and truly beautiful Hunter's fleece displayed is priceless. I predict next spring will be an exciting time, especially with the cria of this pairing being born!
